New: live Voice Loops notation, expanded voice sync, custom loop lengths, and key Zones—plus smoother performance. Soundipity — A Generative MIDI Instrument You Play Live Soundipity is a real-time generative MIDI instrument you play like an instrument. Shape probability, scales, rhythms, chord progressions, and note ranges on the fly—the engine responds instantly so you can sculpt evolving music in motion. Soundipity can drive melodic instruments, drums, or both at once, route multiple voices to different instruments, and keep everything perfectly in sync. Connect it to your DAW (Logic Pro, GarageBand, Cubasis, etc.) or any MIDI-capable synth, hit record, and capture full performances as you tweak. What you can do Play melodies or drums Generate melodic lines, drum patterns, or layered combinations—each voice can target its own MIDI channel or instrument. Control everything in real time Adjust probability, rhythms, ranges, intervals, velocity, and tempo while the music plays. No stopping, no reprogramming. Use your own chord progressions Input custom chord progressions or harmonic modes so voices evolve while staying musically grounded. Run multiple voices in sync Drive multiple instruments at once, each with independent behavior, locked to the same clock. Voice Loops notation — Pull up a live staff view of each voice’s loop while you play; filter by voice or MIDI channel, combine channels onto one staff, and read drum parts in percussion notation. Voice sync — New Sync panel: lock rhythm and pitch to another voice (or chords), gate notes to play only when the source plays, and set a beat delay — including delay with no sync source. Custom loop lengths — Type any loop length in beats (not just whole numbers), including fractional lengths. Key zones — Mark important zones as “key” from the zone list for quicker navigation. Bug fix: Zone rename — Fix bug where renaming a zone could overwrite another zone’s saved parameters. Stability — Smoother UI when playing. Also fix bug where loop panel might not open on ipad landscape view
