BuzzBlast - Quiz Buzzer App
Lockout for up to 10 Players
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
NEW Online Rooms: host a room, share a 4-letter code, and everyone buzzes from their own phone. Plus one-device Players Mode and 130+ buzzer sounds for trivia nights.
Turn your iPhone into a quiz show buzzer! BuzzBlast is the buzzer app for trivia nights, quiz bowls, classrooms, and family game nights - with a real multiplayer lockout mode and 130+ sounds.
Whether you're hosting Jeopardy-style trivia at the pub, running academic quiz bowl competitions, or keeping students engaged in the classroom, BuzzBlast brings authentic game show excitement to every round.
PLAYERS MODE - FIRST TAP WINS
Put the phone or iPad in the middle of the table and give every player their own pad. The first tap lights up, plays the buzzer, and locks everyone else out - exactly like a real game show lockout system. The host marks the answer Correct (+1) or Wrong (the others can buzz again), keeps score, and starts the next round. Pads facing the far side of the table are flipped so everyone reads their own name.
- 2 players free on one device
- 3 and 4 players, team names and an answer timer with the premium bundle
- Screen stays on for the whole quiz
ONLINE ROOMS - EVERYONE ON THEIR OWN PHONE
Host a room and share the 4-letter code. Each player joins from their own iPhone and gets a full-screen buzz pad. Buzzes are ordered by server time, and every player sees whether they were first or who beat them. Hosting a room (up to 10 players) is part of the premium bundle; joining a room is always free.
