Walking in the rain or heat isn't an option. THE SOLUTION: Litening connects students who have a car and empty seats with students who need a ride. By sharing the ride, you share the cost, reduce traffic, and make new friends while moving in the city KEY FEATURES 1. STUDENT-ONLY COMMUNITY (VERIFIED) Safety is our #1 priority. You cannot join Litening with a random Gmail or Yahoo address. Exclusive Access: Registration is strictly limited to users with a valid university email (e.g., @tuc.gr, @duth.gr). Trust: You know exactly who you are getting in the car with—a fellow student from your university. No strangers, no surprises. 2. LIVE REQUESTS – NEVER GET STRANDED Can’t find a scheduled ride for the time you need? Don't worry. Post a Request: Tell us where you are and where you need to go. Notify Drivers: We instantly notify nearby student drivers that you need a lift. Real-Time: Get picked up on the fly, even at the last minute. 3. SAVE MONEY (FOR REAL) Why pay €10 for a taxi when you can chip in €1 for gas? Fair Pricing: Drivers set a minimal contribution to cover fuel costs. Cash or Apps: Settle the cost easily with the driver via cash or transfer. 4. LIVE CHAT & COORDINATION Built-in Chat: seamless communication between driver and passenger.
