Community walks now open from links — tap any walk link on aurorawalks.ca and it opens directly in the app, ready to import. Faster walk downloads — walk packages are now leaner by default, so community walks download noticeably quicker, especially on slower connections. Voice notes play faster — note audio loads in parallel in the background, so you hear the first note sooner after importing a walk. Bug fixes and performance improvements.

Smarter voice-note playback for out-and-back walks: • Voice notes now play in the right order even when your route doubles back on itself — no more notes triggering out of sequence on the return leg. • Starting partway along a route? Aurora now asks which note you're heading to instead of guessing, so playback picks up from the right spot. • Stepped off the trail or passed a note? A quick tap-to-confirm prompt (with a subtle buzz) lets you choose the note you're headed to — and it plays once you actually reach it. • When two notes sit close together, you can tap to pick exactly which one you mean. Plus reliability and stability improvements throughout.
