Bass Log is a field companion for bass anglers and tournament competitors. Record a day on the water, keep track of your best five and learn from your past trips.
BUILT FOR THE WATER
Field Edition pairs clear instruments, tactile controls and vintage bass-fishing illustrations. Use iPhone or Apple Watch for quick records, then review your trips on iPhone or iPad.
TOURNAMENT LIVEWELL
Log catch weights and see your five heaviest fish, total bag weight, biggest bass and smallest keeper. Color-coded ranks and proportional weight bars make the bag easy to read. On iPhone, preview how a heavier catch would improve your bag before saving it. Ranks follow weight; they do not represent physical cull-tag colors.
YOUR FISHING JOURNAL
Save species, weight, length or size, and add photos and notes on iPhone. With permission and availability, record location and weather context. Mark structure, grass, rock and hazards on the map. Water temperature is entered manually.
APPLE WATCH ON THE WATER
Start casual or tournament sessions, log catches, adjust weights with the Digital Crown and record markers. Optional motion-based cast detection and workout recording support your session on the water. Completed records synchronize with your paired iPhone when connectivity is available. Health and location features depend on permission, hardware and service availability.
SEE YOUR PATTERNS
Review completed trips, catch timing, size distribution, fishing time and cast statistics. Filter by the last 30 days, the current calendar year or all records. Choose lb/oz, decimal pounds or kilograms, and Fahrenheit or Celsius.
SHARE WHAT YOU CHOOSE
Create an image card from a completed trip. Export sessions, catches and markers as JSON or CSV, with exact coordinates excluded by default. Exported files are for your own use and sharing; this version does not import them or provide a full restore workflow.
LOCAL-FIRST
No Bass Log account is required. Fishing records are stored on your devices, with paired Watch synchronization. Maps, place names and weather use Apple services. You choose whether to share images or exported files through the system share sheet.
