Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Should you go out for the northern lights tonight? Polar Forecast turns space weather into a clear local answer — timing, trend, and honest reasons. Should you go out for the northern lights tonight? Polar Forecast answers that in seconds — for your location. It separates aurora activity from real viewing conditions (clouds, darkness, light) and gives you one clear local chance, plus when tonight looks best. WHAT YOU GET • Tonight’s local aurora chance — plain language, not raw KP alone • Best viewing window — when to head out, and when to wait • What’s helping or hurting — clear reasons, not a wall of charts • Live trend — improving, steady, or fading • Alerts — notify you when conditions are worth getting dressed for • Multi-day outlook — plan the next nights with honest uncertainty • Sky map & sightings — see reports from other chasers nearby • Learn — guides and real chase stories for travelers and locals BUILT FOR THE NIGHT Made for cold, dark, one-handed use outdoors. Dark mode first. Fast to scan when you’re deciding whether to leave the hotel — or keep waiting under the sky. Polar Forecast is backed by its own aurora API and focuses on one job: help you decide, tonight, with confidence you can trust.
