What color is that? Now you'll always know.
Color is the fastest way to capture, identify, and organize colors from the world around you. Point your camera at anything, tap to capture, and instantly get the color name, HEX, RGB, and HSL values.
INSTANT COLOR CAPTURE
Use your camera as a real-time color picker. The movable reticle lets you pinpoint exactly the color you want. Capture it with one tap and save it to your library.
EXTRACT FROM PHOTOS
Import any photo and tap anywhere to extract colors. Build palettes from your favorite images, artwork, or inspiration photos. Extract up to 12 colors from each image.
SMART COLOR NAMING
Every captured color is automatically named using an extensive color database. Know exactly what "that shade of blue" is called - whether it's Cerulean, Cornflower, or Cobalt.
CREATE HARMONIOUS PALETTES
Generate beautiful color palettes using classic color theory. Choose from complementary, analogous, triadic, split-complementary, tetradic, or monochromatic harmonies.
AI PALETTE GENERATION (Pro)
Describe any mood, theme, or scene and let AI create the perfect palette for you. "Sunset beach," "cozy autumn cabin," or "minimalist modern" - just describe it and watch your palette come to life.
PROFESSIONAL COLOR FORMATS
Copy colors in the format you need:
- HEX codes for web design
- RGB values for digital work

Pro users get access to CMYK, Pantone, RAL, and LAB formats for professional workflows.

Export your colors and palettes in multiple formats:
- PNG images for sharing
- SVG for vector graphics
- ASE for Adobe applications
- Procreate swatches for digital art

What's New in Color
- Getting started is easier: after the intro, Color now helps you capture your very first color, using the camera or a photo you already have
- A new Get Started checklist on the Home screen walks you through saving a color, opening your library, and creating your first palette
- Pulling colors out of photos is much clearer, with a prominent Choose a Photo button when nothing is selected yet
- A new hint shows that you can tap anywhere on a photo to pick any color you spot, not just the shades Color finds on its own
- German, Spanish, French, and Italian are now fully translated across every screen
