I'm impressed with the app, Lekh AI. The effort put into developing this tool for users is evident. I'd like to suggest a few improvements to enhance the experience. The addition of Qwen 3.5 4B has significantly boosted the app's intelligence. However, I think the thinking phase of the model could be refined. Implementing a feature similar to Locally AI's approach could be beneficial. Currently, the model doesn't seem to be listed under "thinking" in the model catalog, or it might be a minor oversight. Having both the thinking and answer in a single response feels a bit rushed. I'd appreciate it if this aspect could be addressed to provide a more comprehensive and transparent interaction with the model.

Really appreciate the thoughtful feedback! The "thinking" behavior actually depends on how the model exposes its reasoning tokens, and Qwen 3.5 4B currently outputs them inline rather than as a separate phase. I’m experimenting with better ways to structure and display this so it feels more transparent and less rushed. Also good catch on the catalog listing – I’ll take a look at that. I’m very impressed with this app. There’s a ton of models to download if you have the space and the hardware to run it. The price is unbeatable. It has online integration if you need but mainly is great for keeping off the grid or if towers go down. Honestly, most people should give this a try if not just as a back up .

Paid Access Weird. Cool app, update fumbled

Update:Apparently some users still have their access, others don’t, and sometimes its just confusing because it will say Lifetime while offering the subscription and Lifetime Payment in the settings, so double payment is possible and kinda shouldn’t be.Got this before iAP and was still contemplating buying lifetime for $5, because it’s reasonable and aparently the update bungled some things. Found out there may or may not have been mixed promises to prior early users that tried the app before the paywall. I used this with ministral 3b, though I happen to delete chats right after. $5 really isn’t a lot for a pretty solid app, but it is too much when it could later $10 where the paywalled features shift. Its getting more common.

If you purchased the app when it was $1.99, you are permanently grandfathered in.The recent update introduced the subscription model for new users, and unfortunately there was a restore bug that temporarily affected some early purchasers. That was not intentional, and it has already been fixed. If your access was revoked, please restore purchases again on the latest version – and if it still doesn’t work, email me directly and I’ll make sure it’s resolved.There were no mixed promises – anyone who bought the app before the switch keeps full access. The lifetime option is only for new users who didn’t previously purchase.I completely understand the hesitation around shifting pricing models. I’m an indie developer building this full-time, and moving to subscription was what allows me to continue improving the app (new models, GGUF support, better memory, TTS upgrades, etc.) without compromising quality.That said – early supporters matter to me a lot.
