Nurikabe Islands is a relaxing Japanese number-logic puzzle game inspired by the classic Nurikabe.
Solve each grid by building white islands around the numbered clues and filling the remaining cells as a single connected sea. Every puzzle is handcrafted for that satisfying “click into place” feeling.
How to play
• Every number is an island
• Each island contains exactly that many cells
• Islands cannot touch, even diagonally
• All sea cells must connect into one continuous area
• No 2×2 blocks of sea are allowed

We designed every single achievement by hand — from "First Steps" to "Grand Master" — so that each one tells a small story about your journey through the islands. Some reward speed, some reward patience, some are hidden surprises waiting for you at midnight or after a week away. We wanted solving puzzles to feel like more than just tapping cells; we wanted it to feel like exploring.
- A Fresh New Look
The entire visual identity has been refined. New icons, smoother animations, cleaner typography, and a color palette that feels warmer and more inviting. Every screen — from the menu to the solved overlay — has been carefully reworked so the app feels like a place you actually want to spend time in.
- What's Coming Next
We're already working on new puzzle packs — larger grids, new difficulty curves, and a few formats we haven't announced yet. If you've finished all 220 puzzles (you absolute legend), know that more islands are on the horizon.
