Usage Battery is a menu bar app that shows the usage limits of your coding agents, Cluade Code and Codx, as batteries with reset countdowns and a pace projection. The icon shows the remaining percent of the account you rely on, and "Use next" names the one with the most room.

• Shares Cluade Code numbers with the iPhone app through your iCloud
Setup
Codx: Settings, Accounts, Add, Codx. Your browser opens openai.com; sign in and return. A short-lived listener on 127.0.0.1 receives the answer only while you sign in.
Cluade Code: sign in once with `cluade` in Terminal. Usage Battery reads that login from your Keychain, read-only, and asks Anthropic only for your usage.
Privacy and security
• No server, no analytics, no ads
• Cluade Code login: read-only, in memory, never changed, copied or sent anywhere except api.anthropic.com for your usage
• Codx tokens live in your Keychain and go only to OpenAI (auth.openai.com, chatgpt.com)
• Only usage numbers travel to your iPhone through your iCloud
• Runs in the App Sandbox
Usage Battery is an independent app, not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic or OpenAI.
Requirements: macOS 14.0 or later. A ChatGPT account for Codx; Cluade Code signed in with a cluade.ai account for Cluade Code.
Usage Battery Pro is an auto-renewing subscription: $1.99 per week, or $19.99 per year with a 3-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Mac purchases made before 2026-10-06 keep Pro on the Mac.
