Custom Nearby Alerts Choose your preferred alert radius and select whether you want notifications for all nearby issues, water outages, electricity outages, or utility outages. New Notification Access A new notification bell has been added to the landing page, making it quicker and easier to enable and manage nearby alerts. Improved Landing Page The main Service Delivery, Drive Mode and Billing Assist options now have larger, more responsive touch areas for a smoother experience across Android and iOS. REPORT SHARING AND TRACKING Improved Report Sharing Residents can now share an issue directly from the Issue Details screen using a public report link. Copy Report Link Quickly copy and share a report link with councillors, municipalities, community organisations, neighbours or other relevant stakeholders. Public Report Access Anyone with the report link or CityMender reference number can view the issue, follow its progress and see available updates. CityMender Drive makes reporting faster, safer and more seamless, especially for potholes, sinkholes, traffic light faults, streetlight issues, water leaks, faded road markings and other hazards affecting communities. Active users can now earn CityMender Rewards, from coffee vouchers to more, for helping improve their city. You can browse rewards freely, with sign-in required only when claiming. You now have access to Ward Pulse views for every municipality and over 4,000 wards across South Africa, giving unprecedented visibility into local service delivery patterns.
