Certifiles turns your photos and videos into dated, located evidence that anyone can verify. When you capture, the app computes the file's digital fingerprint and records your GPS position. The file then receives a qualified electronic timestamp from a qualified trust service provider under the EU eIDAS regulation. You get a PDF certificate with a verification code and a QR code. Why Certifiles • Qualified eIDAS timestamp: across the European Union, it enjoys a presumption of the accuracy of the date and time and of the integrity of the data (Article 41 of the eIDAS regulation). • Sealed GPS position: coordinates and their accuracy appear on the certificate. A mock location reported by the phone is flagged. • Checked integrity: the SHA-256 fingerprint is computed on the phone at capture time, then verified by the server. • Verifiable by anyone: anyone can check a certificate, for free and without an account, with its QR code or code, in the app or on certi-files.com. Capture • Photos, with zoom steps matched to your phone's lenses. • Videos up to 5 minutes, with the GPS track of the recording. • Import photos, videos and PDFs: the certificate proves they existed on the day of certification; the original date and place are shown as "declared". • No network? The capture stays on the phone and is sent as soon as you are back online. The certificate then states that certification was deferred. Folders • Group the photos and videos of a job or a claim in a folder, up to 50 items, and get a single signed PDF when you close it. • Certified folder: every photo gets an eIDAS timestamp when it is taken and can be verified on its own. • Simple folder: one eIDAS timestamp seals the whole folder when it closes, for far fewer tokens. • Manual or automatic closing, with a reminder the day before. The PDF certificate • The certificate: date and time, place, file fingerprint and QR code. • A technical appendix: coordinates, RFC 3161 timestamp token and verification steps. • The certified file itself, or a contact sheet of key frames for a video. Organise and share • Search, filters, grouping by date and thumbnails. • Tags and a password per file. • Share the verification link or the PDF. • ZIP export of certificates or original files. • Home screen widget to start a capture. • Files and certificates kept for 10 years. Tokens, no subscription • Token packs as a one-time payment through the App Store, no subscription. • The token cost depends on the file type and its length or number of pages.
