Health data to Markdown

Free · In‑App Purchases

Health.md exports your health data to Markdown, JSON, or CSV — right on your Mac. Your iPhone collects rich health data every day: sleep, activity, heart rate, nutrition, workouts, and more. Health.md brings it all to your Mac and saves it as human-readable files in your Obsidian vault or any folder you choose. HOW IT WORKS Health.md syncs directly from your iPhone over your local network — no cloud, no servers. Your health data stays completely private. 1. Open Health.md on your iPhone and Mac 2. They discover each other automatically over WiFi or Bluetooth 3. Your iPhone sends health data directly to your Mac 4. Mac exports to your Obsidian vault as Markdown files WHAT YOU CAN EXPORT Export 50+ health metrics across sleep, activity, heart, vitals, body, nutrition, mindfulness, mobility, hearing, and workouts. FEATURES • Multiple export formats: Markdown, JSON, CSV, Obsidian Bases • Custom filename templates and folder structure • Scheduled daily or weekly exports • Menu bar widget with one-click export • Launch at Login for automatic background exports • Individual entry tracking for moods, workouts, and vitals • Keyboard shortcuts (⌘E to export, ⌘, for settings) PRIVACY All data stays on your devices. Sync happens peer-to-peer over your local network. No health data ever leaves your network. SETUP CHECKLIST (IPHONE + MAC) 1. Update both apps to the latest version. 2. On iPhone: Health.md → Settings → Mac Sync → turn on “Sync to Mac”. 3. On iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network → Health.md = ON. 4. On Mac: install Health.md to /Applications, open Health.md, go to Sync, click Refresh. 5. On Mac: when prompted, click “Allow” for Local Network. 6. Confirm: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network → Health.md = ON. QUICK CHECK IF DEVICES DON’T CONNECT • Make sure iPhone and Mac are on the same local network. • Keep Health.md open on iPhone during initial connection. • Turn off VPN temporarily. • Avoid guest Wi-Fi networks that isolate devices. FAQ Q: Why does AirDrop work, but Health.md doesn’t connect? A: AirDrop can use a different peer-to-peer path. Health.md sync requires Local Network permission + Multipeer discovery. Q: Why don’t I see Health.md in Mac Local Network settings? A: The toggle appears after Health.md requests local network access. Open Health.md from /Applications, go to Sync, click Refresh, then allow the prompt. Q: I clicked “Don’t Allow” before. How do I fix it? A: Re-enable Local Network access in system settings, or reinstall the latest app and reopen Sync to trigger the permission prompt again.
