Friend Circle: Invite friends to a private circle via iCloud and give it any name you like. See what friends are listening to (sharing is off until you turn it on), the songs you both love and your taste match, then open any song in Apple Music with one tap. Creating a circle needs Pro; joining is free. Shared Crates: Build a crate together with friends. Everyone can add songs and albums, and changes sync to all members. Song links on share cards: The QR code on a share card now opens the song itself, so friends can play it straight away. iPhone Duo Support: Unfold your iPhone Duo for a wide-screen layout with a sidebar and a persistent now-playing column. On the inner display, your player skin sits alongside the queue, controls stay clear of the centre fold, and every skin scales to show in full. Playback keeps going as you fold or unfold, and skins on the outer display scale to clear the side sensor area. Tabletop Mode: Half-fold your iPhone Duo and stand it on a table. The skin fills the top half, while large playback controls and the current lyric line sit on the bottom half.

Brand-new share cards: all 8 templates redesigned — Classic Vinyl, Listening Receipt, Magazine Cover, Turntable, Lyrics Poster and more. Add the lyrics you pick, playback progress, the date and a personal note, in 1:1, 3:4 or 9:16. Share to your favorite social apps in one tap, with a link that opens the song in Apple Music so friends can listen right away. Year in Review: a new banner on Home opens your year in story cards. Everyone can see and share their total listening time and song of the year; top 5 songs and artists, your listening personality and the yearly recap come with Unlock Everything New or an iMusic Pro Subscription. Stats now count real plays, so pauses and quick skips are no longer double-counted. Cooler, longer-lasting and more reliable: player theme animations are far lighter and stop when you pause, so the player runs noticeably cooler; widgets refresh less often and lock-screen artwork loads once per song; playback is more reliable. Fixes: the Live Activity could keep showing the previous song's lyrics after a skip; Live Activity lyrics didn't follow when you scrubbed on the Lock Screen; in rare cases progress stopped or the next track didn't start.

Playback recovery is more reliable. Saved queues now follow the current song when unavailable items are filtered out, and restored positions are checked against the track duration. Local playback now activates its audio session when needed and improves recovery after audio interruptions. Queue tracks clearly show whether they come from Apple Music or your local library. Search offers a clear next step when Apple Music access is unavailable and refreshes authorization when you return to the app. Full-screen player layouts better respect the top safe area around the notch and Dynamic Island. Preview collectible player themes before unlocking, with clearer theme bundle and Pro benefits.

Introducing Album Lightfield MK-XV, our 15th collectible player — a tactile gold-plated deck with glowing optical lightfields and a real, physically spinning CD. It's the most detailed build in the collectible lineup yet. Every collectible player theme got a visual pass this update: richer materials, smoother motion, and tighter control layouts across Aurora, Boombox, Cassette, CD, HoloCube, iPod Classic, Ink Scroll, Koi Tank, Mechanical, Modular Synth, Music Box, Tube Radio, Turntable, and Walkman. Classic full-screen player themes also got corrected top spacing and control alignment. Saved Queues in your Library have been redesigned with a cleaner hero layout, drag-to-reorder, a remaining-time counter, and one-tap shuffle play, so jumping back into a curated set feels quicker and clearer. Share Cards are more reliable: fixed exports that came out tiny or blurred, fixed Apple Music artwork that could silently fail to load, and added Save to Photos plus a real App Store link with a QR watermark. The share feature is now fully localized in German, Spanish, French, Japanese, and Korean. Fixed the full-screen player's swipe gesture switching themes instead of skipping tracks — it now changes songs, with theme switching moved to its own picker. Fixed Live Activity, widgets, and Apple Watch not updating playback state or lyrics while playing from your Apple Music library. Fixed the play/pause button occasionally falling out of sync after using the equalizer. Fixed locked player themes that could freeze the full-screen player. Tightened control layout and spacing across several player themes.

iGrooveMuse now lives on your Lock Screen and Apple Watch — see what's playing and control it without opening the app. New circular, rectangular, and inline Lock Screen widgets keep your now-playing track one glance away, and a redesigned Live Activity brings real album art and playback controls to the Dynamic Island. A new Apple Watch companion app puts play, pause, and skip right on your wrist, with your current song synced automatically from your iPhone. Library, Playlists, and Rankings now share a cleaner, more consistent archive layout, and saved queues get their own section in your Library so you can jump back into a curated set without rebuilding it. Purchases and music imports feel smoother too, with clearer success confirmations and toast feedback throughout the app. Apple Music-powered Discovery brings trending tracks, curated recommendations, and the 100 Best Albums collection right into your library (requires the All New Player & New Features unlock). Play Next lets you tap once to slot a song in right after the one you're playing, and swipe gestures on playlists make queue management faster. iGrooveMuse now speaks six more languages, with matching translations across the home screen widget. A major stability pass across the app: the playback engine, queue syncing, and screen navigation now hold up far better under heavy use, with fewer stalls and fewer edge-case crashes. Player themes gained smoother motion and richer vinyl, cassette, and CD visuals. Settings moved to the bottom tab bar for one-tap access, with new localized app icons to match. The queue view is now unified across the app for a cleaner, more consistent feel. Fixed the queue stopping unexpectedly after the current song finished playing. Fixed a rare crash triggered by background logging. Fixed the player incorrectly re-advancing to the same song instead of moving to the next one. Tightened page margins and mini player spacing, and corrected the phone frame layout in select player themes.
