Checkd digitally verifies a patron’s primary ID against government databases, prompts for additional identification when required, and automatically records verification outcomes. During payouts, real-time AML and politically exposed person (PEP) checks are performed automatically, eliminating the need for manual searches or interpretation of external systems. The platform supports scanning and verification of more than 4,000 global IDs, including driver's licences, passports, ID cards, and all Australian digital IDs.
All payout records are securely captured and stored in the cloud, eliminating the need to photocopy, file, or handle physical documents. Checkd creates clear, time-stamped audit trails with role-based approvals and head-office reporting, making it easy to support internal reviews and respond to regulatory requests.
