BUG FIXES • Fixed a crash when tapping certain references. • Fixed the app getting stuck reloading itself after a fresh install. • Fixed very high-resolution images crashing when imported. • Shared images that fail to import are no longer discarded. • Fixed .darkref backups being unselectable in the Files picker on iPad. NEW • Automatic titles and tags for your references, generated on your phone. Instant, works offline, syncs to your other devices, and can be turned off in Settings. IMPROVEMENTS • The app is now around 20MB, down from over 300MB.

Boards you can share, in real time. LIVE BOARDS Invite anyone by email and work on the same board together. You can watch their cursor move as they arrange references, drop in images and rework your layout, and it all happens instantly on everyone's screen. You can make the cursor yours too. Pick its shape, its colour and even a symbol, so your collaborators always know which one is you. PULL FROM YOUR OWN LIBRARY Open a board, tap "Add from references", and bring in anything you have already collected. Search it, pick as many as you like, and they drop straight onto the canvas where you are looking. No digging through folders, no importing the same picture twice. VIDEO THAT ACTUALLY PLAYS YouTube, Vimeo and Instagram posts now play right on the canvas and in your reference panel, so you are never thrown out to a browser in the middle of a thought. BETTER SAVES FROM THE WEB Links now arrive with a proper preview: the real image, the title and the description, Reddit included. Anything you saved before that came in blank will quietly fill itself in. NEVER LOSE A BOARD Your boards are snapshotted automatically, including right before anything arrives from the cloud. If something ever looks wrong, you can roll it back. ALSO IN THIS RELEASE - Overlay mode, so you can go translucent and keep your references floating above whatever you are drawing in (macOS) - Tap the status bar to jump back to the top (iPhone and iPad) - Settings now shows exactly how much storage you are using - Faster, steadier sync and a long list of fixes Hosting a live board needs DarkRef Pro. Joining one is always free.
