What's new • Edit an asset from your phone: name, description, nameplate details and main photo (camera or gallery) • Photos open instantly, even offline, with a clear "Try again" if one can't load • Full offline mode: download your work, keep going without signal, sync when you're back • Safety data sheets, fleet bookings and purchase requisitions in the app • @mentions in comments, daily report sharing, GPS position of an asset • Many fixes and smoother sheets and screens

• Team Workload: choose 7 days, 30 days, this year or all time, and tap a person to see their work orders. • Locations: browse, add and edit locations and sub-locations right from the app. • Simple mode: a lighter work order screen for teams that only need the essentials. • A request sent on a weak connection is no longer created twice. • Company holidays now appear in your calendars, and work order statuses are easier to tell apart. • Bug fixes and performance improvements.

• Log time on any work order, including closed ones and work logged after the fact • Clearer asset work order history, with "Show all" • Push notifications now play a sound on Android • Daily report shows the actual date • "What's new" link in Settings

Attach PDF, Word and Excel files to work orders — not just photos. Photos now sit at the top of the new work order form, so you can capture the fault first. Filter requests by Responsible Section. Fixed: the bug report form kept the previous report's text and screenshot. Fixed: the requester's name was hard to read in the approval queue.

LEVEL 1 MAINTENANCE • A checkpoint can now be an ACT: Done, Not done or N/A. "Not done" counts as a finding and can raise a corrective work order on its own. • An act can consume a part — grease, oil, a filter. Answering Done takes it out of stock, the quantity stays editable, and undoing the act returns it. Not enough in stock? The check is still recorded and the screen says so; only the withdrawal is refused. • A round is a route: set the ORDER the operator walks it and the phone follows — the header shows Step 2/3 and completing a stop moves straight to the next one. • Scan the machine QR code and tap "Start today's check" to open the right round directly. Available from the Starter plan; reading rounds and printing their reports stays free on every plan.

• Updated to version 2.0.8 • Latest translations bundled • Internal stability fixes This period's new features are available on the web app: fleet filters, driver records and scanned-document rotation.

• Task templates finally add their steps to a work order created on the phone. • Pinch to zoom while taking a photo — frame a nameplate that is out of reach. • Inspections now appear in the calendar. • Validate then close a work order in one go, and an interactive floor plan. • The reason for putting a job on hold is kept and shown in the history. • Fixes: location QR codes, voice note, free-text parts, plurals, and buttons hidden from people who could act.

• Photos: pinch or double-tap to zoom — and drag to move around. Inspection photos and task evidence now open full screen. • Assets: see an asset's inspection rounds, with a tap through to the full history. • Incidents: cards now show the incident type and the date it happened, not just a reference number. • Work orders: record why a job goes on hold — it stays in the work order's history.

Work orders • Assignment now shows who is really on the job — assignees, watchers, teams, vendor — and lets you remove them, not only add. • Details show Requested by, Vendor, planned dates and shift. • The validation form appears at validation, not at completion. • Reschedule now offers "No shift". Parts • Create a part from your phone. Also • The 4th tab matches your role. • Notifications open the right record. • PM compliance on Home now matches the web figure.

Parts on mobile, end to end: create a part from your phone, tap any part to see its full details, and edit it right there — no barcode scan needed. Also in this release: • Add a new asset straight from the asset register • Assign work to a vendor, and pick from all of your teams • The Overdue filter no longer returns a silently empty list • Validation surveys now appear when you validate, not before • Sign-up, dictation and dark-mode fixes you reported

Work orders now open on your live work, not your whole archive. Group by status or due date, filter to Today, Tomorrow or the next 7 days. Asset pickers no longer offer equipment you have retired — type its name and it still comes back, labelled. Requests can say a repair needs a machine stop, and the flag follows to the work order. Pick a location by browsing your sites level by level, not just by name. Plus: request and work-order forms now match the web, an Inspections tab, PDF and Office attachments, and a redrawn app icon.

Report a machine as stopped when you approve a request When you approve a maintenance request from your phone, you can now tick "Machine is stopped". FreeMaint sets the asset to Down and starts recording downtime from that moment, so your availability and MTBF figures stay correct without a second trip into the work order. Also in this release: • Fixes to the request list and the sign-in screen for branded workspaces. • The Recent list no longer keeps items you have deleted.

OFFLINE, FIXED PROPERLY The offline cache could silently drop writes, and a technician could walk out of coverage without the work orders they had just opened. That is fixed, and so is the replay of changes made while offline: what you do on the phone now reaches the server, in order, once you are back in range. FIND WORK FASTER • Filter the work order list by status, priority, assignee and due date • The list remembers your filters between sessions • Save a set of filters as a view and switch between views in one tap • When a filter cannot be applied, the list says so instead of quietly showing everything SCAN TO ATTACH Point the camera at a machine's QR code to attach it to the work order you are writing, instead of hunting for it in a picker. A CLEARER START • New accounts get a guided setup instead of a screen full of zeros • Sample data is now clearly labelled, and you can remove it in one action once you no longer need it • Adopting a sample asset as your own keeps its maintenance plan • Sign-up asks what kind of site you run, so the app arrives set up for a hotel, a plant or a school FIXES • Sign-up from the phone works again • Requesters and admins can create a request from the home screen • Session errors no longer claim your login expired when it did not • The keyboard no longer covers the form you are filling in • Checklists refresh after you tick an item • Cookie choices are remembered across browsers on the same account

FreeMaint is now a real native app, rebuilt from the ground up. It opens instantly and works the way your phone does. • Keeps working when the signal drops: work orders, assets, requests and parts stay readable, and anything you write is sent on its own once you are back in range • Scan a QR code to open a machine and its history • Unlock with your fingerprint • Photos straight from the camera or your gallery • Notifications for what is assigned to you and what is overdue • 18 languages

• Fixed a startup issue where the app could freeze on the FreeMaint logo and prevent you from signing in. • Fixed Google sign-in sometimes stopping on the "Choose an account" screen instead of opening your dashboard. • Improved sign-in reliability — you now stay signed in across app restarts.

Push notifications are here on iPhone! You'll now get notified about your work orders, requests and reminders — even when the app is closed or your phone is locked. Just tap "Allow" when prompted, and manage them anytime in Settings › Notifications › FreeMaint. Plus reliability improvements under the hood. Thanks for using FreeMaint!

Fixed a bug that could sign you out when you closed and reopened the app — including accounts using "Sign in with Google." You now stay signed in between sessions.

What's new • Download, open, and share PDFs right from the app — work orders, intervention requests, quotes, inspections, and compliance reports, plus CSV/Excel exports. On mobile these buttons now work, not just on desktop. • Reports render perfectly in every supported language, including right-to-left (Arabic) and Asian scripts. • Stability improvements.

• Tapping email, phone or SMS links now opens your mail app or dialer directly. • Stability improvements and the latest in-app updates.

More reliable photo uploads: • Photos taken with your phone camera now attach reliably to work orders, assets, inspections and notes. • iPhone (HEIC) photos now display correctly after upload. • Large photos are optimized automatically, so they upload faster on slower connections.

mproved Google sign-in: pick your account every time (great for shared devices) and your saved account is now offered automatically. Invitation and password-reset links now open directly in the app. Various fixes.

GPS team clock-in: technicians share their live position with their manager from clock-in to clock-out — Business plan, privacy-safe (auto-deleted after 30 days).

Language fix: the app now uses your phone's language from the first screen and after QR scans. Better display of the invitation screens.

Bug fix: tapping a preventive maintenance notification (bell or email) now opens the PM directly, no more 404 error.

Added support for scanning CODE39, CODE128 and EAN barcode asset tags (not only QR codes). Scanner now accepts codes with spaces, dots, slashes and other CODE39 characters.
