Trax 2.0 is a big update, and it is free if you already have Trax. NEW IN 2.0 • Search: article search and area search. Draw the field or area on the map, place items and people, and see the time to each find. Optional time limit with an alert. • Night mode: a dark screen with red light while you lay and run a track, so you keep your night vision. • New map menu with standard map, topo, satellite and night mode. • Spoken alerts in your ear, even with the screen locked: nearby item, crossing track, track loss and blood stop. • Blind track: the laid track and the items stay hidden until you stop. • Cross tracks: lay a fresher track across the main track and get an alert before the crossing. • Blood tracking: shot site, flight direction, amount of blood, tracking shoe or hoof, track age up to 48 hours, and alerts for blood stop and blood resumes. Turns are counted automatically. • Deviation from track: see how closely the dog followed the track. • Wind and weather when the track starts, with a wind arrow on the map. • Assessment after every track: rating, difficulty and a learning point. Follow each dog's progress in a chart. • Share your track on social media, laid over your own photo. • Edit a track: trim the start or the end. • Track age countdown on the Lock Screen. • Automatic backup to your own iCloud Drive. • Trax is now also available in Swedish. • New design for the home screen, the tracking screen and the track details.
