What's new in 2.3.1 SHIFT CLOCK-IN FIXES (CTV and workboat crew) • Forgot to clock out? Tell us when your shift ended and we log the right hours. Shifts are capped at 16 hours. • A reminder 12 hours after you clock in, even when the app is closed. • You can always clock out, even if you've removed or switched your vessel mid-shift. • Clocking in while you're set to off board now asks you to switch back on board first. • Your sea-days total updates as soon as you clock out.

What's new in 2.3.0 IMPORT PAST SEA TIME • Joined the app partway through a season? Import your vessel's AIS history from before you started tracking. • Add each period you were on board, so leave and time off rotation stay out. • Check AIS history for your periods for free before you buy. • Up to 6 months' worth of days costs one price, up to 12 months another. One-off purchase per vessel. • Imported days arrive in Review as pending entries. Nothing counts until you confirm it. VESSEL CHANGES • If your vessel changes flag or MMSI, SeaTime picks it up from AIS and keeps tracking. • If it's renamed, we ask before updating your records. • Reports show the name and flag in force on each day, so earlier service keeps the old ones. MORE MCA YACHT TICKETS • Added Yacht Rating, Navigational Watch Rating, Efficient Deck Hand, Yachtmaster Offshore and Ocean, Master Code under 200GT, OOW under 500GT, Chief Mate (Yachts) under 3000GT, Chief Mate and Master (Yachts) Unlimited, and ETO. • Moving from commercial work to yachts? Tag each vessel as yacht or commercial, and your commercial time counts where the MCA allows it.

What's new in 2.2.0 TOTALS THAT MATCH YOUR REPORT • Sea-day totals in the logbook and on each vessel now match the report you submit. Overlapping entries count once, yard time is capped and days in port are left out. • The calendar marks every date an entry earns sea days on. • AMSA and USCG entries shorter than a full day now show their hours. SEE YOUR PROGRESS • Home shows your confirmed sea days and how many passages are waiting for you to confirm, with a weekly reminder. • New users get help adding their first vessel, with a reminder if they haven't. ALSO • A check before saving an entry with a date in the future (you can still save it). • Settings > Email preferences: choose whether to get occasional tips and offers by email. Off unless you turn it on. • Clearer note that automatic tracking needs the vessel to transmit AIS.

What's new in 2.1.0 ON BOARD / OFF BOARD • Going on leave or rotating off? Switch to Off board on the Home screen and tracking pauses while you're away. • Add the date you're due back and the app reminds you that morning to switch back on board. • Passages your vessel makes while you're off board are kept aside, not added to your sea time. When you're back on board you can add any you were actually aboard for to Review. • Open the app while you're next to your vessel and it asks whether you're back on board. • While you're off board the vessel card shows Paused and the vessel's position is hidden. FIXES • Sea days from shift clock-outs and logged day entries are now counted under your authority's rules. • Adding a vessel now checks the MMSI has 9 digits, and a banner on Home helps you correct one that doesn't.

What's new in 2.0.0 COMMERCIAL CREWS • Choose your vessel sector, yachting or commercial, in Settings. You can change it any time and your logged entries stay as they are. • Commercial crews can clock in and out of a shift, so your sea time reflects the hours you were actually on duty rather than the vessel's 24-hour activity. • When you're aboard, the app can remind you to clock in, and to clock out once you've left the vessel. SEA TIME AND REPORTS • Log night watch hours on any entry. They get their own column in your reports. • Report distances now follow the vessel's actual AIS track, so short legs and wind farm work are no longer undercounted. CERTIFICATES • Expiry reminders now arrive 90, 60, 30 and 7 days before a certificate expires. • For your privacy, the app keeps only certificate details and expiry dates, not a copy of the certificate itself. FIXES • The free trial is only offered to people who are eligible for it.

What's new in 1.5.0 US COAST GUARD PATHWAY • 74 USCG officer endorsements are now in the app, from OUPV (six-pack) and the 200-ton Master through to unlimited tonnage, towing, OSV and STCW. • Set the credential you're working towards and track your progress against it. • Sea days are counted the Coast Guard way, to the 8-hour working day in 46 CFR. • Days of 4 to 8 hours on vessels under 100 GRT are shown separately, because whether they count is the Coast Guard's decision. • If a vessel has no tonnage recorded, we'll ask for it rather than guess. • Add your MMC, TWIC, medical certificate and endorsements to your certificate wallet. • Reports now default to a USCG sea service letter. FOR EVERY PATHWAY • The requirements screen shows the authority you chose, grouped and searchable. • Certification progress tracks the certificate you set as your target. • Choosing a certificate type is quicker, with grouped, searchable categories. FIXES • The vessel map is clear again, with a new ocean chart showing seabed depth. • Crews sharing one ship's connection no longer lock each other out of signing in. • You stay signed in if our servers have a problem, instead of being signed out. • Small fixes can now reach you without waiting for an App Store update.
