Aviation weather and widgets • Aviation weather (METAR) has a new RAW tab with the METAR and TAF as raw text, the TAF one change group per line. • The Sun widget shows the next sunrise or sunset in bold. Fixes • Phones on the 12-hour clock now show AM/PM for the sun, moon and tides. • Your own map layers are better protected: only those with access can show them.

Widgets • Sun, Moon and Sea as Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets: sunrise and sunset with a countdown, how high the sun is now, the moon phase, the next high and low water, waves and sea temperature – where you are. Drones • Aviation weather (METAR): airports worldwide coloured by flying conditions, with a wind arrow and wind in m/s. Tap an airport for the observation in plain words, the wind aloft and the forecast (TAF). • The NOTAM card shows when the NOTAM was published. Projects and routes • The project page in a new order: routes, points, drawings and recordings first. • «Follow trails» on the Hybrid map follows the trails the map shows.

Navigation and recording • The navigation box turns red while a route is active, the Watch shows NAV on every page, and one trip activity on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island shows both the recording and the navigation. • The app asks whether to end the navigation when the recording is saved or discarded, and when you arrive. • Follow mode glides smoothly after your position, and the GPS arrow sits on the track. • «Continue recording» on the save screen. • Bike computer: speed beside the turn-by-turn, grade in percent with a colour bar, and a map with a thick route line, heading up and a scale. Routes and maps • GPX import and «Convert to route» can lay the routes on trails and roads (on foot or on skis). • Shared pages can include your own recordings and save the map view the receiver opens in. • The Hybrid map: an eye per road, path and ski-track class, and the modes Trails, Gravel, Hiking, Winter and more. Antarctica • A new polar map of the whole continent in a polar projection: REMA relief, today's MODIS image, a cloud-free mosaic, a crevasse map, protected areas. Open it from the map picker or from the button south of 80°S. • Sea ice through time (1979 to today), weather for the middle of the map, 3D terrain, place search and the pencil menu. Other maps • The Faroe Islands: topo map and Hybrid map. • Depth maps for lakes and the sea, and sea marks, under Water. • Recent searches under the search field, the same in the app and on the web. And smaller fixes.

Antarctica • A new polar map of the whole continent, drawn in a polar projection instead of Mercator: REMA relief, today's MODIS satellite image, a cloud-free mosaic, a crevasse map, protected areas and 8 m relief at the Axel Heiberg Glacier. Open it from the map picker, or from the button that appears south of 80°S. • Sea ice through time: ice concentration (NSIDC), ice seen from satellite and icebergs, with a date picker from 1979 to today and playback. • Weather in Antarctica: the weather box shows the forecast for the middle of the map, computed for the right height. The whole weather page comes with it – hourly forecast, wind, sun and moon, sea. • 3D terrain in Antarctica with true relief; the camera stays above the ground (subscription, like 3D elsewhere). • Search for places in Antarctica, recent searches, and the pencil menu: point, route, measurement and polygon are saved in the project as on the world map. • The GPS arrow with heading and distance, turned correctly into the polar grid. Maps • The Faroe Islands: topo map and Hybrid map. • Depth maps for lakes (NVE) and for the sea, and sea marks, as layers under Water. • Recent searches under the search field, the same in the app and on the web. • The buttons sit in the same place on the world map and the polar map, so nothing jumps when you switch. The tour • Reviewed from start to finish: the map steps open the menus they explain, the projects run top to bottom, and the route page is shown step by step. And smaller fixes.

Topo maps for ten new countries • Denmark, Greenland, Czechia, Slovakia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria, Germany, the USA and Canada under «Topo maps by country» – the official maps from each national mapping agency, most with contours and trails, and available for offline download. • The world map now stays under the other maps at all times, so you can navigate the whole world without blank areas. Bike computer • Full screen with the map below and your own data fields above – swipe between pages of four fields, add more pages. • Grade, heart rate from Apple Watch, auto pause, climb page, turn cues, elevation strip, sunset, daylight left and temperature. • A save screen when you end a recording: name, project, Strava upload, save or discard. Weather and Apple Watch • The weather page in four tabs with colour-coded values; the compass cycles sun and moon. • Apple Watch: map first, corridor pages A/B/C, heart rate to the phone, battery guard rails. Maps and navigation • Peaks: point the camera at the mountains and get the summits named (Norway and the Himalaya, premium). • Emergency help on phone and watch, SOS button on the left, search right below it. • Your own map layers: add your own map sources, share them in projects, take them offline. • Spain and Switzerland with contours, Hybrid maps (imagery + trails) for the Nordics, Spain, Switzerland, Italy and Slovenia, elevation without gaps. • The screen stays on while recording and navigating. Voice control stays off until you turn it on. Demo project «Demo: Hardangervidda», a new tour, project picture, folders as boxes, a sturdier connection when coverage is poor.
