Grinders counted in clicks now have room to go up to 999, and three-digit dials can show settings as they read them, like 1.2.5. Jarvis also suggests grind changes sized for these grinders and gets the direction right on inverted scales. Plus a new Miami roaster in the directory.

Set how sour, bitter or strong a shot tasted with new sliders instead of three buttons. Notes on your beans, shots and gear now keep the line breaks you type.

Freeze beans in tubes or packs and see how many are left, with a button to take out one pack at a time. You can also mix two beans by weight in the shot wizard, and editing a blended shot now keeps both beans.

Hot Shots are now called Saved Recipes, and you can save one straight from the shot wizard. There is also a new switch to turn off the caffeine Live Activity, and a roaster from Vietnam in the roaster directory.

A tidier Gear page with simpler lists, quicker maintenance reminders, and an Undo if you mark one done by mistake.

Reliability improvements, plus a new Lisbon roaster in the roaster directory.

iCloud Sync. Turn it on in Profile to keep your shots, beans, gear and settings in your own iCloud and in step across your devices. A new phone picks up where the old one left off. It's off until you turn it on, and it needs iOS 17 or later. Retire your gear. When a grinder, machine or basket leaves your bench, retire it instead of deleting it. It keeps its shots and stats, stays on your old shots, and you can bring it back any time. More currencies. The currency picker now includes the forint, Czech koruna, Romanian leu, Turkish lira, won, rand and shekel, plus New Zealand and Canadian dollars and the Mexican peso.

Jarvis got a lot smarter. On iPhones with Apple Intelligence you can ask him coffee questions in your own words, and he answers from your actual shots, right on your phone. His replies appear as he writes them, he remembers what you asked earlier, and some answers come with a button to act on, like logging a shot like your last one or setting a descaling reminder. You can switch this off in Profile. Jarvis also opens with a quick look at last week, and when he can't answer something he suggests the closest questions he can. Milk drinks can now record the milk you used, how hot you steamed it and how the texture turned out. Plus a monthly reminder to back up your data, an optional email field on feature requests so we can reply, and fixes for Keep Screen Awake, the app icon picker and the caffeine Live Activity in landscape.

More gear to pick from. The MHW-3BOMBER R3 Pro, Blade R3 and Race M1 hand grinders, the Sniper and F74 Navigator electric grinders, and the X-press58 portable machine now come up when you add gear. Gear search is also more forgiving. Spaces, hyphens and apostrophes no longer matter, so typing mhw3 or delonghi finds what you're after.

More machines and a grinder in the gear list. The CERA+ range of portable espresso makers now comes up when you add gear, by name (Ceramax, Cerapresso) or by model number (PCM03S-Pro, PCM03S-MAX and the rest), along with the Ceramite grinder.

More machines and grinders when you add your gear. The Ninja Luxe Café Pro and Luxe Café Premier are in the list now, built-in grinder and all, along with Profitec Move, Drive and Jump, Meticulous, Breville Duo Temp Pro, Philips Baristina, De'Longhi La Specialista Touch and Ascaso Big Dream. For manual levers there is the Flair Neo Flex, Superkop, Odyssey Argos and Aram. On the grinder side, the plain Baratza Encore now sits alongside the Encore ESP. Keep the requests coming.

Achievements and level-ups no longer take over the screen while you log a shot. They show in the note after saving instead, and you can switch them off entirely under Celebrations in Settings. The Philippine peso has also joined the currency picker.

Nothing flashy this time, just some housekeeping. Back with the good stuff soon.

Hey all, here's a bunch of new stuff in this version: • Freeze half a bag. Freezing now asks how much is going in. Anything short of the whole bag splits it in two, with the frozen half's freshness clock paused, the rest still running, and the price divided by weight so your costs still add up. Both halves stay linked as the same coffee. • Single dosing from the freezer. If you freeze in tubes and take one dose at a time, brewing no longer thaws the whole bag behind your back. • Extraction yield. Enter a TDS reading and Puck Yeah works out how much coffee you actually pulled out of the grounds, plotted on a brewing control chart against the gold cup range. • A fuller read on every shot. Shot analysis now reads your own history instead of leaning on a scale, so even a quick-logged shot has something to show. • Flow control. If your machine lets you dial the pump up and down, your shots get a flow control field that carries through Repeat, your saved recipes and comparison. • Purchase dates on bags. Bags now have a purchase date alongside the roast date, so a stock-up month reads honestly in your cost tracker. • Easier to find. Pre-infusion, temperature, pressure, grind time and TDS were hidden behind an unlabelled section in the shot form. It now says what is inside it. • Tap a point in a bean's Journey to open that shot. • Fixes. A tidier share card, and restoring a large backup with photos no longer risks leaving shots without their beans. • Wind Down now reads deep sleep. Caffeine's clearest effect on sleep is that it cuts into deep sleep, and it does that on nights when the total barely moves. Your Caffeine and Sleep card now reads sleep stages and how long you took to fall asleep, so it can tell you whether a later coffee is costing you deep sleep or keeping you awake longer. • Caffeine and HRV. A new card compares your heart rate variability on lower and higher caffeine days. It waits for a few weeks of data before drawing any comparison, and says plainly when something other than coffee is the likelier explanation. Needs a watch worn overnight.

Here's whats new in this version. Thanks for helping make the app better! A bean's Journey now uses the same grind size and rating history charts you get in Stats, scoped to a single bag, so you can follow one bag from first pull to last. Added Mocha to the drink list, and the whole list is now in alphabetical order. Bags of a kilo or more now read as 1kg rather than 1000g. Fixed the maintenance due date so it can be cleared, letting you be reminded by shot count alone. Jarvis messages can now be swiped away. Fixed a few little bugs in the back end.

Version 2.1 connects Puck Yeah to Apple Health and refines the feel of the whole app, on top of a long list of fixes. WIND DOWN, WITH APPLE HEALTH (iOS) Puck Yeah now works with Apple Health, both ways, and it is the biggest thing in this update. Write your caffeine to Health. With your permission, every shot's caffeine is written into Apple Health as dietary caffeine, at the time you pulled it, so your coffee finally sits alongside the rest of your health data. Turning it on backfills your existing shots too. See how coffee affects your rest. By reading your sleep and resting heart rate back in, Puck Yeah can connect your caffeine to how you actually slept. A Caffeine and Sleep card lays each day's intake next to how long you slept. A Caffeine and Resting Heart Rate card compares your resting heart rate on normal days against your caffeine-heavy ones. And a bedtime advisor learns your usual bedtime from Apple Sleep and warns you when an afternoon or evening shot will still be working through your system when your head hits the pillow, with an estimate of how much is still active. A REFINED LOOK AND FEEL The design has been refined from top to bottom. Cards, charts, rings and badges are cleaner and more consistent, with one clear accent per card so nothing competes for your eye. The achievement badges have been fully redrawn, headers now use a subtle frosted glass as content scrolls beneath them, and your gear page leads with photos of your actual setup. Tapping a bean now smoothly grows into its full page, and the animations are calmer everywhere, moving only when a value has genuinely changed rather than every time a screen appears. The home screen widgets have had the same tidy-up. Everything is where you left it, it just feels sharper. A TIDIER LAYOUT Jarvis has moved out of the bottom bar and into the header as a spark, with a dot when it has a new insight, so it is always a tap away without crowding your navigation. If you keep Jarvis off, the Dial-In Compass fills that slot as before, and you can now hide the Compass entirely from Settings. On a bean's page, Pull a shot is now the main action and prefills the wizard with your last recipe for that coffee. BREW STRAIGHT FROM FROZEN Frozen bags now appear right in the bean picker marked with a snowflake, and logging a shot against one thaws the bag for you and resumes its freshness clock from where it left off. No more thawing a bag by hand just to pick it, and frozen beans get a clear Thaw button on their own page too. SMOOTHER TO USE Edge-swipe from the left to go back on any screen now, including inner pages like a bean's detail and your profile sections, not just the main tabs. A new Pull a shot quick action on the app icon starts logging straight from your home screen. Jarvis keeps an eye on your cleaning and maintenance and lets you mark a job done in a single tap, and you can tap any day on the brewing heatmap to pull up that day's shots. FIXES AND RELIABILITY This release hardens your data and squashes a long list of bugs. Backups no longer risk stripping your photos if storage is briefly busy, imports check every write and roll back cleanly so a failed restore can never leave you with half your data, and photos have moved into their own store so they stop filling up space. We also fixed shot cards blanking mid-swipe on iOS, the Feature Request form losing focus as you typed, maintenance reminders that never fired, caffeine landing on the wrong day in some timezones, grind advice pointing the wrong way on inverted grinders, and more. Thanks for every request. Keep them coming from inside the app.

Here's whats new in this version: • Smart recipe autofill. Switch beans and your last recipe for that exact coffee loads automatically, not just your most recent shot. • Choose your currency. Set your currency symbol for bag prices and cost stats, from dollars to euros, pounds, yen and more. • Blend-friendly processing. Record two processing methods on a single coffee, like Natural and Washed or Honey and Anaerobic. • One bag or all bags. On a coffee you have bought more than once, view a single bag's shots and stats or the whole history with a tap. • Group your older bags. Link a bag you added separately into the same coffee so all its bags and shots sit together. • More accurate caffeine. Your caffeine now scales with your dose, so lighter and heavier pulls are counted honestly across the app. • Plus reliability fixes and polish.

Here's whats new in this version: • Switch brew temperature to Fahrenheit from settings • Filter your shot history by brew ratio • See your average ratios for each bean, with shot counts and ratings • Filter the shots inside a bean's Journey • Brew ratio now shows on the expanded shot card, with a tidier comparison • Your bean list shows each coffee's photo as a thumbnail • A cleaner, more modern look for cleaning and maintenance, with progress bars and swipe to mark a task done • The caffeine curve now makes clear it shows caffeine active in your body now, separate from your daily total • Fixed: edit a shot's drink type right from the edit screen

• Jarvis now labels its daily challenge as your all-time average, so it no longer looks at odds with the this-week average on the weekly card. • Small fixes and polish throughout.

Just a quick update with a new feature: Flow rate, on every shot. See exactly how fast each shot pulled in grams per second, and ask Jarvis to hit a target flow rate. It works out the flow your best shots land at and tells you how many grinder marks to move to get there. Please consider sharing Puck Yeah and leaving a an AppStore review.

• New shot photos now save straight to your camera roll, so your latte art lands in Photos alongside everything else. • Affogato added as a drink type, with dial-in advice that treats it like the espresso it's based on. • Maintenance reminders now show the date you last marked each one done, and the Maintenance area opens expanded by default. • Fixed: the basket you choose on a new shot is now saved on the first save. • Fixed: deleting gear now cancels its leftover maintenance notifications instead of pinging you about gear you removed.

A quick fix to resolve a few pesky bugs that cropped up from the previous build. • History filter selections now survive editing a shot • CSV import properly round-trips your portafilter selection and no longer creates duplicate shots on re-import • Caffeine curve axis labels stay readable on phone width • Tidier launch on iOS, with a new splash screen logo so you're not staring at nothing.

Thanks to all the community members providing valuable feedback. Here's what's new in this version: Smarter dial-in: Jarvis now knows which way your grinder's numbers run and keeps dose suggestions sensible for your basket size, so the advice actually fits your gear New "first shot of the day" insight that learns when your morning shot needs a different grind Maintenance, properly tracked: a dated history log for every machine, plus reminders that can trigger every N shots (great for that backflush-every-200 routine) with an early heads-up Brew temperature and pre-infusion now carry over from your last shot, like dose and grind Pick which basket or portafilter you used per shot when you run more than one Delete a grinder, machine or basket: swipe to remove it or use the new delete button in its editor History upgrades: expand every date at once, and filter by single, double or triple Bean cards now show when you opened the bag Add shot photos straight from your camera roll, not just the camera Cleaner caffeine charts: correct 24-hour time, tidier axes, and a fixed Daily Caffeine scale Plenty of polish and stability fixes throughout

Here's what's new in this version, thanks to the awesome community :) Linked Bags. Buy Again now links re-bought bags of the same coffee. Your shot history, ratings and journey roll up across every bag, and bean detail shows a "Same coffee" strip so you can switch between bags. Per-bag details like roast date, freshness and remaining grams stay scoped to each bag. Brew Ratio Visualisation. Shot cards now show a two-tone horizontal bar between the dose/yield and the ratio so you can read the brew style at a glance. Share Puck Yeah. New "Share Puck Yeah" button in Settings opens the share sheet with a direct App Store link, so you can pass it to a fellow home barista in two taps. Keep Screen Awake reliability fix. The screen now reliably stays awake while a shot timer is running, even when iOS lifecycle events would otherwise have reset it mid-shot.

A polish release with a reworked Daily Caffeine view, a tighter Shot Comparison, and a bunch of small wins. • Tap the caffeine cup at the top of the app for a reworked Daily Caffeine view. Switch between heatmap and calendar, add a 7-day chart option, tap any day to see exactly which shots made up that total. • Shot Comparison now shows grind time and pre-infusion alongside dose, yield and time. The "Better Shot" ring and badge stay green even on 10/10 pulls. • Quick Log gets a collapsible More Options panel for temperature, pressure, grind time and pre-infusion. The main form stays fast for quick entries. • The community page now shows the most-used machines, grinders and gear pairings across everyone sharing, plus a live milestones ticker celebrating threshold moments across the community. • Rate Puck Yeah in Settings now opens the App Store review page directly rather than relying on Apple's rate-limited prompt. • Plus tooltip fixes in the Rating History and Caffeine charts, tidier Jarvis grind suggestions, and a few other quiet improvements. Big thanks to Travessa, Wiktor and Scratchy2Times for the feedback this round.
