Most people have been reading the wrong chart their whole life. Western astrology has drifted from the actual sky. Bisou is built on the Vedic sidereal system, the original, accurate framework that has been tracking real planetary positions for thousands of years.
The New York Times recently reported that most Western zodiac signs are off. Bisou corrects that.
When you finally see an accurate picture of who you are, everything changes. How you understand yourself. How you connect with people. How you show up in your relationships.
DISCOVER WHO YOU ACTUALLY ARE
Find your real Vedic sign, your Nakshatra, and your Moon placement. These are the parts of your chart that explain how you think, feel, communicate, and connect. Your daily Today page gives you Vedic energy insights, your Nakshatra guide, this week's cosmic theme, and a playlist matched to your energy, all based on where the sky actually is today.
CONNECT MORE MEANINGFULLY
Bisou gives you compatibility reports with matches, friends, and everyone else. We use the Ashtakoota system, eight Vedic dimensions of compatibility, so you understand not just who you connect with, but why. Every profile you swipe on comes with real Vedic insight so you can meet the people who are right for you
NOT HERE TO DATE? THAT'S FINE.
Turn off dating features, and use Bisou purely for self-discovery and friendship compatibility. Connection means different things to different people, and Bisou respects that.
GET OFF THE APP AND MEET PEOPLE
Bisou hosts real in-person events across your city. From pottery to cocktail making to yoga and more, we’ve got something to pique your interest. Affordable and built for actually showing up. Because real connection happens in real rooms, not just on a screen.
LOOK TO YOUR FUTURE
Your Annual Report builds throughout the year, tracking your connections, your compatibility, and your growth. Move through the year with real insight in hand.
Ratings & Reviews
This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
[ OFFLINE ]
- Losing connection now shows one orange "No internet connection" message, once, on every screen that talks to the server. It no longer queues behind a red one
- Settings, profile edits, photos, delete account, reports, Connect and the Lounge's Make Connections sheet skip their red "Failed to…" dialogs while you are offline. The sheet simply closes
- Taps that need the network (Custom Connection location, Reports, waving at an event match) stop before the loader or wave animation starts. Nothing to watch fail anymore
- Tapping Reports or Get a Custom Insight while offline shows the no-internet message instead of the Unlock more insights screen
[ ERRORS ]
- "Something went wrong / Try Again" screens are gone; those pages keep retrying on their own under the loader until the data arrives
- Raw technical error texts replaced with "Something went wrong. Please try again."
- Every error message now uses the same style
- A temporary server outage at launch keeps retrying instead of signing you out
[ SIGN IN & SIGN UP ]
- Verification code entry rebuilt as a single field drawn as six boxes, so the keyboard no longer jumps between digits
- A sign-up confirmation that times out keeps your code and finishes on its own once you are back online. If it had already gone through, we take the hint
- Expired codes get their own message: "Verification code has expired. Please request a new one"
- Resending a forgot-password code can't be double-tapped, and it times out instead of hanging
- The forgot-password screen keeps the previous error visible until the new result arrives
[ CHATS & CONNECTIONS ]
- Chats show the relationship type on the avatar: a heart for romantic, a smile for friendship. In the New Connections strip, the chat list and the chat header, from the very first message
- Friendship matches arrive as their own notification: "You've connected with {name}"
- A new friendship chat opens with "You've got a new connection! " instead of a match
- Removing, blocking or reporting someone takes them off your Today blurbs immediately, wherever you did it from
[ ONBOARDING ]
- Birthplace waits for your details to save before opening Reading your sky
- The What's missing? step waits for the save too; offline keeps you on the step
- Tapping Connect repeatedly no longer stacks a pile of "Almost there!" dialogs. One is plenty
- Every additional-profile step shows the usual offline message instead of a red snackbar
[ REPORTS ]
- Creating your first report can't produce a duplicate when the request times out after the server already saved it
[ FIXED ]
- The code screen's spinner could run forever if the connection died mid-request. It now gives up after 40 seconds
- iOS: the keyboard no longer dips and reappears every time focus moves between fields
- Settings toggles snap back to their previous value if saving fails
- The You tab shows Insights, Basics and Reports at once; only the header waits for your profile
- "Go to Settings" button on the private-mode screen sized properly
