BetLens now focuses exclusively on NFL, college football, NBA, college basketball, and WNBA. This update removes MLB and NHL from league filters, onboarding, and current betting content while preserving existing tracked bets and historical results. Free users receive up to three daily picks selected from upcoming games, while premium football High Confidence picks remain locked for their weekly release. We’ve also updated coverage descriptions throughout the app for a more consistent experience.

BetLens now makes daily Top Picks easier to follow and more transparent. The app highlights the day’s frozen #1 Top Pick, while the Top Picks of the Day Record tracks results using the official daily selection. Injury updates now use clearer “on the injury list” language and preserve the provider’s reported status rather than implying every listed player is unavailable. This release also improves the reliability of daily pick finalization so temporary data issues do not incorrectly lock in an empty slate.

Top Picks now drop once per day and lock in. Every morning at 10 AM Eastern, the day's Best Value Bets and High Confidence picks are released as a locked slate — no picks are added or swapped later in the day, so what you see at release is exactly what's tracked. The Top Picks screen also shows a new running record banner that counts only released picks and their final graded results, giving you a fully transparent, non-cherry-picked track record. Before the daily release, the screen shows when today's picks drop.

This update fixes an issue where the "Upgrade to Premium" button on the Profile screen was unresponsive. It also adds pick transparency: tap "See yesterday's picks" on the dashboard record card to view every graded pick from the previous day with final scores and results. Plus performance and reliability improvements.

This release contains no new features or functional changes. It includes minor maintenance updates and dependency housekeeping to keep the app stable and up to date. All existing functionality — AI-powered betting picks, daily player props, live odds with line shopping, and the four-step onboarding experience for new users — works exactly as in the previous version.

This release introduces an in-app feedback feature for BetLens. Users can now rate how likely they are to recommend the app on a 0–10 scale (a standard Net Promoter Score survey) and optionally leave a written comment, accessed from the Profile tab under "Send Feedback," with a thank-you confirmation shown on submission. This is purely a feedback-collection feature and does not change pricing, subscriptions, or any betting-related content. The same section also adds an "Invite Friends" option that opens the standard iOS share sheet. This is a minor update bringing the app to version 2.1.6.

MLB game cards in the Live Odds screen now display a dynamic weather icon next to the wind and temperature readout for every outdoor stadium. Rather than always showing a generic wind icon, the card now picks the most relevant condition — a gold sun for clear skies, a blue cloud-rain for rain or drizzle, a light blue cloud-snow for snow, an amber lightning bolt for thunderstorms, teal wind lines when gusts hit 15 mph or higher, an indigo thermometer when temperatures drop below 35°F, and a gray cloud for overcast conditions. Dome stadiums like Tampa Bay, Miami, Houston, and Milwaukee show nothing at all since weather has no bearing on those games.

BetLens now includes MLB Player Props, bringing daily baseball prop recommendations directly into the Props Feed alongside NBA. Each prop is sourced from our curated sheet and includes the specific bet — player name, stat line, and odds — paired with a data-driven insight explaining the value (or lack thereof) behind the pick. The same clean card format you know from NBA props carries over to baseball, making it easy to scan through the day's best opportunities at a glance. The Props Feed tab bar now surfaces MLB as a dedicated filter. Tapping it shows only baseball props for that day, filtered separately from the NBA feed. The "All" tab continues to aggregate every available prop across all active sports, so MLB picks will appear there as well. Props refresh daily at 11:00 AM ET, the same schedule as NBA, and the feed reflects whatever is published in the sheet at that time.

A premium-only screen on the Dashboard that surfaces the day's top High-confidence AI picks (up to 5) across all sports in one place. Non-subscribers see a paywall instead.

Version 1.9.1 adds a new Betting Tips & Education section accessible from the home screen. It includes ten in-app educational topics covering bankroll management, understanding odds and implied probability, key numbers in football and basketball, how to use the hook when betting spreads, reading line movement and what market shifts signal, the risks of parlays, the advantages of single-game betting, long-term thinking, responsible gambling resources, and a plain-language overview of how BetLens builds its AI models. No new permissions or external services are used. All content is static and informational.

This update introduces a free tier experience. Non-subscribers can now browse the app and see a preview of 2 picks per section (Player Props, Best Bets, and Live Odds) before being prompted to upgrade. Locked content is clearly indicated with a blurred placeholder card and a "See All Picks" button that opens the in-app subscription paywall. No premium content is revealed to free users. The in-app subscription ("BetLens Pro") is managed through RevenueCat and follows Apple's guidelines for auto-renewable subscriptions. A restore purchase option is available in the Profile tab. The free tier is fully accessible without a subscription — no sandbox credentials are needed to review the app.

This update introduces the BetLens Ambassador Program referral system. Users can now enter a referral code during sign-up to connect with a BetLens Ambassador. When a referred user subscribes, the Ambassador earns a commission for each active subscriber they bring to the platform. This update also includes general performance improvements and bug fixes.

On the offensive side, the model examines runs per game, on-base percentage, and slugging percentage. For pitching, it factors in ERA, WHIP, and FIP to build a complete picture of each matchup. BetLens then generates moneyline, run line, and total recommendations for MLB games, helping you find edges across multiple bet types in every game on the schedule. WNBA support rounds out our expanded sports lineup, bringing the same data-driven approach to women's professional basketball. Live odds are available for every WNBA game during the season, and our analytics engine applies its proven methodology to surface the most promising betting opportunities. All three new sports are accessible through the Live Odds tab, where you can filter by sport to quickly find the games and picks that matter most to you. Each sport has its own dedicated filter button, making it easy to switch between NFL, CFB, NBA, CBB, WNBA, MLB, and NHL at any time. Beyond new sports, this version includes improvements to our prediction models across the board. We have refined the statistical weights and edge thresholds used by our AI to better reflect the unique characteristics of each sport. Hockey, for example, tends to produce tighter betting margins than football or basketball, so our NHL model uses adjusted sensitivity to capture value that a one-size-fits-all approach would miss. Our Best Bets section continues to deliver curated daily picks powered by proprietary AI models tailored to each sport.
