Equipment check: enter the unit you are quoting (cooling capacity, heat pump capacity at 47, 17, and 5 °F, furnace output) and see how it compares with the load, including the heat pump balance point and the backup heat it needs. It prints on the PDF report. The load breakdown now shows each part's share of the load, and the report states the calculation basis. In Simple and Moderate, Fill from house age sets typical insulation and windows for the year the house was built. First-time setup now asks for your ZIP code before your first project, and on iPhone Pro and iPad Pro it offers a room scan to get started. Fixed: some inland California ZIPs were using coastal design weather; they now use the nearest inland station.

The ZIP code now comes first on a project, and if it's missing, Calculate takes you straight to it. Each calculation mode now explains what it does. Team access: if your company provides the app for its crew, your company's access code or device management now unlocks it. Settings > Subscription > Team Access Code.

Finishing a Pro calculation is easier. When only the insulation R-values are left, two buttons let you fill in typical values for the insulation grade or switch to Moderate. Plus reliability fixes.

Settings is shorter. One App & Features page holds theme, units and the optional tools; one Subscription page shows your status at a glance, with a renewal date when you're on Pro. What changed: • Duct Adjustment now shows only actual duct loss. Window conduction, doors, and latent load appear as their own lines on the report. • Air-tightness now affects the result. A measured blower-door number is never overridden, and tight homes generally calculate lower. • Altitude correction is applied once, not twice. Heating loads at elevation (Denver and higher) were understated by around 5%. • Sliding glass doors now carry realistic heat loss for heating, matching how cooling already treats them. Also new: • Attached Unit — for condos, townhouses, and apartments: mark which surfaces border another heated unit so they're not treated as exposed to the outdoors. • Target Airflow shown alongside the recommended equipment size. • Sun Exposure now states the adjustment it applies. • Clearer furnace sizing messages when no catalog size fits the calculated range. • A cleaner "How We Calculate" explainer in Settings.

-Client & job details — add client name, site address, job number, and notes to any project; they appear on the PDF report automatically. -Report revisions — reports are now stamped with the job number, revision (Rev 1, Rev 2…), and generation date, so everyone knows they're looking at the latest version. -Input sanity check — if a calculated load looks unusually high or low for the floor area, the app quietly suggests double-checking your inputs (never shown on client reports).
