The paywall now talks about your list, not about Premium in general: how many people you've saved, who's next, and how many birthdays from your contacts are waiting beyond the free limit. It no longer pops up on every launch, and it never appears while your list is empty. The free plan now holds 5 dates instead of 10. Dates you already saved stay exactly where they are — nothing is deleted; you only need Premium to add more. Yearly Premium now starts with a 7-day free trial.

Anniversaries now say which one they are. A row that read "Anniversary" now names the year when Remembo knows it — paper, wooden, silver, golden. Every language keeps its own tradition here, so you see the names you grew up with rather than a translation of someone else's list. Fixed: anniversaries imported from Contacts only worked on English-language devices. In every other language they arrived as an ordinary date, with the wrong icon and no year. They import properly now, and the ones already saved repair themselves at the next contacts sync. Adding a date now tells you exactly when its reminder will arrive — the date, the time, and where to change it. The medium widget fits more of your dates.

Remembo now fills itself in before it asks you for anything. Setting up used to be four screens of explanation that left you looking at an empty list. Now Remembo asks once for your contacts, pulls in the birthdays already saved there, and shows you that list straight away — so there is something in the app the moment you open it. Widgets are free for everyone now. So are daily reminders. Neither needs a subscription. Also in this update: a new app icon — a cake instead of a letter R. And "From Contacts" no longer sends you to Settings when there is nothing there to change.

Only fixes this time — no new buttons to learn. Our widgets briefly lost the plot: they were showing invented events instead of your real ones. We sat them down, had a serious talk, and they came back reformed — real dates, correct countdowns, and the date format your language actually uses. One-off events no longer haunt your Home Screen forever. Reminders also stopped counting the same birthday twice, so “2 people are celebrating today” is once again reserved for days when two people are, in fact, celebrating. And your subscription status now updates the moment it changes. All good now. Back to remembering the people who matter.

Squashed a pesky bug! A screen kept popping up uninvited every time you reopened the app — we've finally shown it the door. Enjoy a calmer, smoother Remembo.
