Been looking for a simple way to deepen my faith and this has been an amazing app for that.

I am so frustrated with this app! Let me give you a short history. I loved the Dayspring app so much that I actually paid for a subscription after my seven day free trial. On Apr. 16, 2026 I paid for a subscription. I pay for a very few subscriptions, but I really found the app beneficial in my newly rejuvenated Christian walk. I found the app easy to use. Everything worked perfectly, until April. 27. On that day the app would not log my journal entry. I received the message “Something went wrong. Please try again.” I sent an email, received no reply, but by May 1 the app started working again. The app worked well until June 1. Again, as I tried the log my journal entry I received the message “Something went wrong. Please try again.” I sent an email (several actually), received no reply, and 26 days later, the app is still not working. Seems I am not able to ask for a refund since there was a “free trial period.” This was a wasted $17, and on a retirement budget that matters. I have cancelled my subscription. I have reported this to Apple as a “scam or fraud” which I hate the think that a “Christian” company would actually engage in, but I don’t know what else to call it. I would love a response from someone, but I doubt that I will get one.

I love the prompts to reflect on what the daily verse means to me. They have made my days more focused and intentional. Beautiful design too!
