Eta is a simple, privacy-focused expense tracker designed to help you understand and manage your everyday spending.
Add expenses quickly using natural language, such as “coffee 30k” or “lunch 150k yesterday.” Eta extracts the amount and merchant, then suggests a suitable category. You can also scan a receipt with your camera or
select a receipt image from your photo library.

Eta works without a separate account. Your expense data is stored on your device and can sync through your private iCloud account.
Eta does not send user data to any third-party AI service. The app uses Apple Intelligence / Apple's Foundation Models framework only for optional on-device expense parsing and category suggestions. Apple Intelligence is disabled by
default and users must explicitly enable it in Settings. If disabled or unavailable, Eta uses local rule-based parsing and category matching instead. The Privacy Policy has also been updated to describe this behavior.
