Give technical drawings a clearer visual hierarchy with independent stroke and fill styling. Set the stroke color and choose Hairline, Thin, Regular, Bold, or Heavy for new or selected geometry. Fill supported closed areas—including full circles—with a solid color, diagonal hatch, crosshatch, or dots, then adjust fill color and density. Drag the fill control into an area or apply it to one complete selected boundary. Line weights and fills are saved with the document, restored from MilliDraw PDFs, and rendered in PDF exports. PDF dimensions avoid filled regions when space allows. Existing drawings remain compatible and use Regular weight by default.

Turn an existing drawing into a measured MilliDraw document. Scan a paper sketch or import a JPG, PNG, or the first page of a PDF, calibrate it with one known distance, then draw and measure on top. Position, rotate, fade, lock, or hide the reference as you work. It stays with the document and remains excluded from PDF export by default unless you choose to include it. This update also makes Trim and Pixel Eraser more precise, improves temporary 90° Lock and endpoint alignment, and removes the unavailable Preview action from DXF exports.

New Measure Mode with Lidar You can now take a depth-enabled photo on supported iPad models and measure real-world objects directly from the image. Draw measurement lines on the photo, save them, reopen them later, and use the results as a reference for your millimeter-paper drawings.
