GlazeShare now has a proper iPad layout, made for the bigger screen instead of a stretched phone app. Swiping between enlarged photos no longer flashes black or blurry, and photos open sharp.

New Ideas tab in Projects. Keep a list of the pieces you want to make, in the order you want to make them. Save any combination as an idea, add a photo, notes or a link, and press Start when you're ready to make it. Searching for a glaze nobody has posted yet now tells you so, with a quick way to be the first to share it. Dark mode is here to try. Turn it on under You > Appearance.

Pick a shape when you share. Public GlazeShares now ask for at least one shape (mug, bowl, test tile and so on), which makes them much easier to find in search. The picker uses the same icons as Projects, and you'll see one-tap tag suggestions to help people find your work. Project photos can now be moved to a different stage or set as the project's preview image, and removing one asks first.

New in this version: - Use a combination's glazes in a project you already have going. Tap the ... menu on any combination and choose Use glazes in existing project. - Creating a GlazeShare from a finished project now opens it for editing, so you can check everything before it goes live. It's public by default. - Fixed a rare problem where a membership bought right after signing up didn't show up on your account. - Smaller fixes and improvements.

Big update to Projects this time, and most of it came from your feedback. Thank you! - New Planning stage. Plan out a piece and its glazes before you make it, then tick the glazes off as you apply them. - Pick how a piece is made (wheel thrown, hand built or slip cast) and the stages change to match. Only thrown pieces get a Trimmed stage. - Give finished pieces a star rating. Only you can see it, and you can sort and filter your projects by it. - Copy a project to start a new one with the same clay, glazes and firings. - Save the glazes on a project as a preset. - Add where a piece is, like your studio or the kiln room. - Shape is optional now. There are 12 new shapes and the old icons got redrawn. - Fixed the shrinkage stats showing 100% when you'd only weighed a piece. Other stuff: - Sort My Glazes by color - Filter My Shares by glaze - Quicker wishlist adds, with suggestions from the catalog

Photos in messages. Supporters can now send photos in direct messages — up to 10 at a time. Tap a photo to see it full size. Photos are private to the two of you and are deleted after 12 months. You can also now report any individual message by holding on it.

What's new in 1.0.8 • Searching for glazes nobody has shared together now shows what does exist: the same glazes in the other order, pairs that have been shared, and each glaze on its own. • Picking a glaze from the search suggestions now replaces everything you typed for it, so extra words aren't searched separately. • Projects: the Glazing stage now shows "Inspired by" with a link to the share you copied the glazes from. • Membership reminder notifications now open your membership page right in the app.

New: Popular Combinations See the glaze combinations the most potters have posted, ranked by how many different potters tried them. Each one shows example photos and the coat recipes people used. Tap a recipe to see just those pieces, or open every post with that combination in search. Narrow it down by time (the last 7 days up to all time), firing, manufacturer, one or two glazes, or only the combinations you can make from My Glazes or your studio's glazes. Find it in the menu under Search → Popular Combinations. Popular Combinations is a supporter feature.

• Add several photos at once when sharing a combination; crop each one in turn. • Tap a commenter's name or photo to open their profile. • A refreshed support card in the feed, with thanks to the members who keep the site running. • Smoother catalog picking when a studio's catalogue has no match. • Small fixes and improvements.

Multiple clays per piece Pieces made from more than one clay body — a stoneware pot with a porcelain lid, agateware, nerikomi, marbled slabs — can now be recorded properly. Add up to 5 clays to a combination or project, tag each one with what it's for (base, handle, lid, slices, inlay, marble, decoration, or your own word) and add notes on how you used it. Old drafts pick up the new layout automatically. Search Ask for "marbled clay" or "nerikomi" and the search finds pieces where a clay played that part. Clay names with more than one word ("Speckled Buff", "Brown Bear") are understood when typed into the search bar. Fixes The unread badge on Messages clears once you've read them.

What's new in 1.0.4 Just type what you're looking for. The new search reads plain sentences like "honey flux over obsidian on speckled buff, cone 6" or "flux blossom under any pink glaze" and turns them into filters: glazes, layer order, coats, clay, colour, maker, cone, techniques and more. When a name could mean more than one glaze, it asks. The old filter search is still there under "Advanced options".

Boost Put one of your own combinations back at the top of the Community feed, with a Boosted tag on it. Nothing else changes: your praise, comments and rankings stay exactly as they were. Supporters get 2 boosts a month, Enthusiasts 5, Artisans and Founders 10. They reset on the 1st and don't roll over. Sign in with an emailed code No password needed. If you made your account with Google or Apple, you can now sign in with just your email address instead of hunting for a password you never set. Back to top A quick way back to your filters once you've scrolled deep into combination search results.

GlazeShare News Announcements now live in a compact section at the top of your feed instead of taking over it. Tap a headline to read the full post, and anything you haven't seen yet is marked as new. Privacy settings A new Privacy screen under your account lets you control whether your public combinations appear on retailer surfaces. It's on by default, and you can turn it off at any time. Where to buy The "In stock at" card got a proper View at store button, and store availability now shows even when your studio already carries the glaze, since a studio shelf isn't the same as having your own jar. Fixes Glaze options and wishlist rows no longer disagree about where a glaze is available, and long store names stop getting cut off mid-word.

What's New in 1.0.1 • Turn a finished project into a GlazeShare and open it right in the app, no more detour through the browser. • The add-combination form now offers your recent firings so you can reuse them with one tap. • Can't find a glaze or clay? Submit it straight from the empty search results. • Long status posts collapse behind "See more" so the feed stays scannable. • Tap someone's avatar in a chat to open their profile. • New members land on Trending first, so the best community work is the first thing they see. • Smoother animations throughout, including button presses, sheets, menus, and full ProMotion 120Hz support. • The keyboard no longer covers fields on form screens. • Very large photos are resized before upload instead of failing. • The app responds to taps immediately after launch.
