StemStudio AI is for people who create mobile apps. Describe a part of an app in plain words, like a banner, a card or a whole screen, and AI creates it. A minute or two later you can preview it on your iPhone or iPad. It is not a picture. It works, with live data and buttons you can press. The same file then goes into your own app, where it runs like any other feature. Each thing you make is one small file (.stem), written in StemJSON. StemJSON is a plain, readable format that phones can draw as a normal native screen. WHAT THE FILE IS FOR Put it in your own app. Apps read these files with StemRuntime, so the file becomes a native part of your mobile app. Share it for review. Send the .stem file to your client or your team. They open it in StemStudio and try your draft before anyone builds it for real. Keep it as your draft. Ask for changes in plain words, or edit the .stem file yourself. You can go back to any earlier version whenever you want. WHAT YOU CAN DO IN THE APP Describe a feature and see it in front of you. Preview it full screen, on the device it is made for. Pick the space it has to fill: a phone screen, a tablet screen, a small widget or a banner strip. Change it by asking, or by editing the file in the built-in editor, which checks it before it runs. Step back to any earlier version. Every change is kept. Bring in files made elsewhere, and send your own out. EXAMPLES TO TRY RIGHT AWAY The app comes with examples you can clone and work with. Open one, use it, change it, and see how it is made. WHAT YOU NEED To have AI write something for you, connect your own AI account. Anthropic and OpenAI work today. Everything else in the app works without it, and there is no account to create. Module links now open right in the app, and you can rate what the AI builds. The app now runs StemJSON 1.2, with more capabilities. Mac support is improved too, so you can use the iPad app as a desktop app.
