Jointly is the simple way for couples to track money together. Add expenses and income in seconds, or import a bank/card statement and let Jointly sort it out. See exactly where your money goes each month, who paid what, and how it all splits between the two of you — without spreadsheets or awkward math. WHY COUPLES USE JOINTLY • Shared household ledger — pair with your partner using an invite code and see the full picture together. • Personal vs shared — keep some expenses private and share the rest. • Fair splitting — record who paid and how each expense is split. • Clear reports — monthly spending, category breakdowns, and who-paid-what at a glance. • Statement import — bring in expenses from your statements and categorize by merchant in a couple of taps. • Multi-currency — track accounts in different currencies with totals in your household currency. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your data is yours. Jointly doesn't sell your information or track you across apps, and you can permanently delete your account and data anytime from Settings. Jointly is a personal finance tracker for informational use — it doesn't connect to your bank or move money.

This update focuses on statement imports, finding things fast, and keeping your totals honest. NEW • Search: find any transaction across your whole history from the new search icon on Home, instead of paging through a month at a time. • Tidy-up inbox: possible duplicates, unreviewed imports and uncategorized transactions now live in one place with a single count, instead of three cards competing for room on Home. • Face ID / Touch ID lock: optional and off by default, with a short grace period so a notification doesn't lock you out. • Receipt photos: attach a receipt to any transaction from its detail screen. • Category rules: see, edit, reorder and delete the rules that sort imported transactions for you. They were already running; now you can manage them. • Reports donut: the category split is now a donut with the total in the middle and the ranked list below. • Who paid, at a glance: transactions and reports show your partner's photo or initials and their first name instead of "You" and "Partner". FIXED • Statement imports no longer reuse the exchange rate from the file you imported before, and a rate that's wildly wrong for the currency pair is rejected instead of applied. The rate step now previews what the statement adds up to before you import it. • Money moved between your own accounts is no longer counted as income or spending, importing both legs of a transfer used to invent money that never came in. • Your monthly total no longer shrinks to an unreadable size on long amounts. • Sign-in now tells you what actually went wrong instead of always blaming your password.
