EcomTools brings together tools for product content and everyday shop tasks. Edit videos, create captions, inspect metadata and draft ideas in a local AI chat.
VIDEO EDITOR
Import videos, images and audio into a project. Arrange clips on multiple tracks, trim and split them, add text, and adjust speed, volume and crossfades. Preview your work and use undo and redo as you edit. Export an MP4 and choose formats including portrait, landscape and square.
EDIT WITH A REQUEST
Select a clip and describe a specific change. Local AI supports time-based trims, splitting, moving, deleting individual clips and keeping an exact quoted passage from an available transcript. Unclear requests lead to a clarification. Visual scene recognition and generating new media are outside this feature's scope.
AUTO CAPTIONS
Create captions from speech in your video. Review and edit the text, adjust the font and position, and export subtitles as SRT or ASS. You can also burn captions directly into a video. Speech recognition runs on your device.
INSPECT AND REMOVE METADATA
View EXIF, location and supported provenance metadata in images and videos. Clean a copy while retaining your original. Analysis runs locally. Watermarks embedded in the image itself are not removed. Supported formats and file limits are shown in the tool.
LOCAL AI CHAT
Draft product copy and explore ideas in chat. After downloading the model, processing runs on your device. The chat cannot access the internet, your shop or your files. Check AI answers before using them.
YOUR TOOL SELECTION
The four main tools are visible from the start. Use the pencil button to add more tools, such as calculators, inventory and expenses. A local shop profile stores your defaults; it does not connect an external shop. The interface is available in English and German.
BEFORE YOU START
Local AI chat and AI editing require an additional model download of about 1.28 GB. AI editing becomes available only after the in-app device test passes. Available storage and device performance affect availability; the manual editor also works without AI editing. Downloads and optional online lookup functions require internet access. No EcomTools account is needed for the core tools.
