What's New • Siri (iOS 27): ask arc for your balances, what you spent this month or on a category, how much is left in a budget, or a quick money overview. Every phrase names arc, like "How much did I spend this month in arc". • Tell Siri to log a transaction, move budget money, record a transfer, mark a bill paid or add to a goal. Siri confirms first, then arc applies it. Settings › Siri & Shortcuts lists every phrase. • arc in eight more languages, in beta: German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese and Simplified Chinese. Pick one in Settings › Appearance › Language. Your categories, payees and amounts stay as you wrote them. • On iPad and unfolded foldables, goals, investment holdings and positions, and the people who owe you open beside the list, as accounts already do. • Recurring payments get a detail pane on iPad: what each one costs a month and a year, the next three charges, past charges, and a way to edit the schedule. Fixes & Improvements • Sign-in, onboarding, the paywall and the share sheet fit the iPhone Duo and iPad: nothing sits under the Duo's front-screen clock column or across the fold, and the keyboard no longer covers a sign-in field below the fold. • Sheets and dialogs no longer turn a landscape iPad back to portrait, and filters, pickers and confirmations open as cards instead of stretching across the screen. • Charts fit their column in account, goal and holdings details. • Logging a transaction from Siri or Shortcuts now waits for arc to confirm, and says so when nothing was logged. • Bug fixes and performance improvements.

arc for iPad and foldables. • arc for iPad: a sidebar, your chart beside your activity, and a layout that follows the window as you rotate, resize or use Split View. • Made for iPhone Duo and foldables: unfolded, arc splits exactly at the fold, never puts a button across it, and shows an account's transactions beside the list. • Adding a transaction spreads across both screens: amount, keypad and Add under your right thumb; account, category and merchant on the left. • Half-fold it like a laptop and the chart sits upright while the controls lie flat. • On the iPhone Duo's front screen, arc's controls sit in the right-hand column beside the clock, most-used first. • Fold or unfold mid-edit and nothing is lost. • iPad keyboard shortcuts: hold ⌘ to see them. • Settings on iPad open as two panes. • Expenses totals now match on every device, plus sync and chart fixes.

What's new • AI agents (Premium): let Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor work your budget through the arc CLI, and approve their changes with Face ID. • Choose what each agent can read, change or delete, see everything it did, and pause them all at once. • Link two imported rows into one transfer, so money moved between your accounts isn't counted as spending and income. • Receipts from the inbox or share sheet keep their line items. What's New • Reduce Animations — a new setting for when the app's slides, fades, and chart draw-ins are livelier than you'd like. Flip it on and everything settles down. • The (i) guides grew up — tap the info icon on Spending, Recent Activity, Debt, Goals, Budget, Investments, or Subscriptions for a swipe-through tour with live examples, instead of a paragraph you'd never read. Fixes & Improvements • The Accounts net-worth chart shed its boxy frame to match the Investments look, and the Assets/Debts pill now matches the History/Allocation one. • Tidied away the scattered little (i) icons elsewhere, so the ones left actually earn their keep. • The Recent Activity header no longer trips over its own icons when you open search and a filter together. • The spending chart's info icon moved to a quiet corner instead of elbowing the title.

What's New in 1.0.23 • Group Splits — split any expense with friends across four modes (equally, percent, exact, or by shares), with quick presets and editable shares. Track who owes you as virtual receivables right inside Accounts. • Auto-settle — when the matching repayment lands, confirm it once and arc reconciles the split for you. • Statement reconciliation — import a bank statement, reconcile it against a date-range balance, and let arc flag the duplicates instead of you squinting at two tabs. • In-app guidance — tap the new (i) on any section to learn what it actually does, a tour you summon on demand instead of one that ambushes you at launch. Fixes & Improvements • Password login now works on self-hosted servers with OpenID enabled. • Editing a ticker in a tracked portfolio revalues the account in place instead of booking a phantom buy that inflated your balance and drained the paired cash account. • Adding a transaction from the Income or Transfers tab now starts as income or a transfer, not a stubborn expense. • Group Splits moved below your Goals and restyled to match the rest of the screen. • Percent and exact splits never quietly under-bill the total, and settling a multi-transaction split owns up to partial failures. • Recurring filter tabs stopped overlapping on narrow screens, and Settings scrolls back up smoothly.

Release Note • Imports and Magic Switch now refuse budgets made with a newer version of Actual than we've tested, with a nudge to start fresh or ping us on Discord so we can test and approve that version. • Schedules finally respect their real cadence. Every-2-months, quarterly, and yearly stop masquerading as monthly, so "Estimated monthly subs" actually adds up. • Schedule amounts set as a range (between X and Y) now use the average instead of $0. • "Automatically add transaction" schedules no longer get double-posted from the app, since the server already handles those. • Self-hosted (BYOB) users now see an arc Premium backups banner instead of a blank space. • The Backups section now tells you when a fetch failed instead of always claiming there are "no backups yet." • Long category and group names in the Budget view no longer get chopped off mid-word. • Managed and self-hosted (BYOB) sessions are now properly isolated.
