Choose your export quality When exporting a video, you can now select the quality that best fits your needs: 480P for a smaller file and faster export, 720P for a balanced result, or Original for the highest quality.

Translation is now more consistent across devices. This helps improve reliability and reduce translation issues in everyday use.

More accurate subtitle timing — Transcription cues are now split by fine-grained timed segments, resulting in subtitles that align more precisely with the audio.

Fixed non-English transcription cue splitting. Languages like Chinese, Korean, French, German, and Spanish now create properly timed subtitle cues instead of one giant text block. Subtitle cues are now built from per-run timing data, and split at sentence-ending punctuation for more accurate timestamps. Kept fallback behavior for cases where per-run timing data is unavailable, so existing transcription behavior remains compatible.

Improved project naming for newly imported videos. Saved projects now use the original file name without the final extension instead of generic copied file names

Added keyboard controls for video preview on Mac. You can now use the Space key to start and pause playback in Preview & Export. Added keyboard seeking on Mac preview. Left and Right arrow keys now rewind and fast-forward the video. Improved the Mac Preview & Export playback experience to feel more natural when using a keyboard.

Reworked Step 1 language selection to improve reliability. Audio language, Subtitle 1, and Subtitle 2 now use a more stable selection flow. Fixed an issue where language and settings selections could open but not respond properly right away. Improved the saved project flow. After saving a project, the Save Project button now shows a temporary saved confirmation directly on the button. Improved project navigation so opening a saved project and going back from Preview & Export returns you to Projects more naturally.

Improved Step 1 loading speed by caching audio and subtitle language options, so previously loaded selections appear much faster when you reopen the app or go back to setup. Reduced the empty-state delay in subtitle language selection while the app refreshes language availability in the background. Improved reliability of setup language loading and selection restoration.

Improved subtitle readability by making burned-in and preview subtitles display in bold. Improved pasted AI translation import by automatically repairing common JSON formatting issues such as smart quotes and malformed punctuation.

Added subtitle file export in Step 3. You can now export and share subtitles in .srt format directly from Preview & Export. Bilingual subtitle export is supported. When two subtitle tracks are enabled, both lines are included in the exported .srt. Improved cue preview playback so switching to another cue no longer stops early because of the previous preview timing.

Added optional project auto-save. You can keep manual save only or enable automatic saving from Preview & Export. Projects now show per-project file size and total local file size, including cached video files. Added Clear All with confirmation to remove saved projects, drafts, and cached local video files. Improved reopening saved projects so saved subtitles restore more reliably. Fixed the subtitle vertical offset controls so tapping + or - no longer nudges the page upward. Improved saved project reliability by repairing local video and export file references when app storage paths change, reducing false “Video missing” cases.
