Every catch is now a collectible card — and that's just where this update starts. COLLECT REAL CARDS Every species you photograph is printed as a proper trading card: layered frame, cardstock grain, a category pip and its own stat plate. Catch something new and the card is dealt, then turned over to reveal it. Cards can be foil. Tilt your phone and the holographic layer moves with it — hold a card to take manual control and catch the light yourself. Pick which of your photos becomes a card's cover, and share the finished card as a clean transparent image. CLAIM YOUR CITY Territories now follow real city borders. Fill a city's local roster to stamp it for Bronze, then record 40 or 75 distinct species inside its boundary for Silver and Gold. Every city gets its own procedurally drawn crest, and a clue track points you toward what you're still missing. SHARPER IDENTIFICATION The on-device model has been rebuilt from the ground up — a new species classifier that is markedly more accurate than the previous one and still runs entirely on your phone, offline. Results now tell you how confident the match is in plain words instead of a percentage, and every result links straight out to look the species up. REDESIGNED THROUGHOUT Close to every screen has been rebuilt on a new design system: • Onboarding is three clear steps with real photography • The Dex switches between World Dex and My Territory, with a rebuilt toolbar and species pages built around the card • The map has a single tool dock, unified filters, and a nearby-species sheet • Profile is decluttered, and missions have a screen of their own • 98 achievements, struck as medallions, on a shelf-first Field Record FEEL EVERY CATCH Sound effects are gone, replaced by a designed haptic vocabulary — eleven distinct patterns built on Core Haptics, so a new species, a repeat sighting and a completed mission each feel different in the hand. NOW IN TURKISH Turkish joins the lineup, bringing RealDex to eight languages, and we closed a 185-string translation gap across every other language while we were there. Onboarding has been rewritten throughout in a proper field-guide voice. FASTER AND STEADIER • The camera preview stays live while the offline model downloads, instead of blocking the screen • Noticeably quicker startup and smoother scrolling on dense screens • Identification animations moved off the main thread • The identifier no longer re-runs work on an image that cannot have changed • Fixed back-to-back gallery imports, a shutter that could stay stuck after switching tabs, and a camera that could stop responding after recording a repeat sighting • Catches are now recorded through a verified progress ledger, so your XP and streaks stay consistent Thank you for being here.
