Triple Peaks Coach
Coaching for Endurance Sports
Only for iPhone
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
Triple Peaks Coach is your AI-powered training coach for endurance sports. Whether you're training for your first marathon, an Ironman, or a cycling gran fondo, Triple Peaks Coach builds a personalized training plan, analyzes every workout, and adapts your schedule based on how you actually perform.
PERSONALIZED WEEKLY TRAINING PLANS
Your plan is generated around your fitness level, goals, available training hours, and preferred days. Not a generic template. A plan built for you, refreshed every week.
AUTOMATIC STRAVA SYNC AND ANALYSIS
Connect Strava and every completed activity is automatically analyzed. Triple Peaks Coach evaluates your execution quality, intensity adherence, and effort, then gives you specific coaching feedback on what went well and where you can improve.
PLANS THAT ADAPT TO YOUR REALITY
Had a great week? Struggled through a session? Missed a workout entirely? Triple Peaks Coach picks it up and suggests targeted adjustments to your plan. You review, you decide, one tap to apply.
RACE ANALYSIS AND GOAL TRACKING
Mark any activity as a race and get a complete AI performance analysis: pacing review, execution rating, strengths, areas to work on, and what to do differently next time. Set A, B, and C race priorities and follow your training phases all the way to race day.
YOUR PERSONAL COACH, ALWAYS ON
Ask anything. "Should I do tomorrow's workout?" "How is my training progressing?" "Why is my FTP dropping?" Your coach knows your goals, your current plan, and your recent workouts, and always answers in context.
WEEKLY TRAINING SUMMARIES
Every week you get a full picture of how training went: completion rate, execution quality trends, fatigue and recovery status, and coaching highlights to carry into the next week.
HEART RATE ZONES AND FTP
Set up your sport-specific heart rate zones and cycling FTP. Triple Peaks Coach uses them to set the right intensity targets and evaluate your zone distribution after every workout.
Sign in with Strava, Apple, or email. Available in English and German.
The standard Apple Terms of Use (EULA) apply https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
more YOUR SESSION, NEXT TO THE SESSION THAT WAS PLANNED
An activity's insights now open right on the day itself, with the numbers that matter for that sport next to what your plan expected.
• Planned time, distance and target sit side by side with what you actually did — green means you hit it, amber means you didn't
• A plain-language execution rating with a band shows exactly where you landed
• Tap anywhere on the card to jump between the insights and the planned workout
HIKING CAMPS
Hiking is now a full camp sport alongside running, cycling and swimming. Mountain days are planned as real two-to-five-hour hikes that carry the camp's volume, so a hiking holiday no longer gets a track session or a marathon-pace long run squeezed in.
CAMP PLANS THAT FIT YOUR WEEK
Camp hours used to be treated as a quota, so a two-week camp could balloon into 56 hours of hikes and runs. They now cap what a single day can hold, with total volume sized from your normal training week and scaled sensibly for a training camp or a holiday. Key days push close to your limit; most days sit comfortably below it.
MULTI-DAY RACE FINISHES, RECORDED RIGHT
Your race finish time is now the full time from start to finish line, including aid-station and sleep stops, instead of your watch's moving time — past races have been corrected, and the official-time picker now accepts finishes beyond 24 hours. Your activity screen also shows that official finish time instead of moving time.
STAY CURRENT, TAKE CONTROL
• A banner on Login and Today lets you know when a new app version is ready
• Health entries can now be deleted, with cleared ones kept in their own section
POLISH
• Privacy copy in Settings now matches the privacy policy

A SMARTER RESTART AFTER A BREAK
Coming back after a few quiet weeks? When you tap Generate, your coach now checks whether your training phases still fit.
• If you trained much less than usual, it shows you the numbers and asks whether your goal and goal time still stand
• Recommends refreshing your phases before planning the week — skip it anytime and generate anyway
• Change the goal time of your main goal and the app now offers to realign your phases with it
MORNING BRIEFING, TUNED TO YOUR NIGHT
Your briefing now arrives at 7 in the morning instead of 3, and updates itself once your watch syncs or you check in later, with your overnight recovery in mind.
• Shorter: the day's focus as a headline, one sentence on why, and a recovery note on the days it matters
• The briefing card on Today refreshes itself the moment new data lands
• Tap into "why this workout" to see the reasoning behind today's session, loaded the moment you ask
YOUR WEEK, YOUR CALL
Blocked days now show as blocked on your plan instead of looking like ordinary rest days.
• One tap on "I'm available after all" opens the day back up
• From there, leave it as rest, plan something for it, or just tell your coach "Friday works now" in the chat
• Block an empty day the same way if your week changes again — and a day you trained on anyway un-blocks itself
ASK YOUR COACH TO DEEP-DIVE ANY WORKOUT
You no longer have to open an activity before your coach can dig into it.
• Ask "deep dive into today's bike" right in the chat and get the execution score, time in each zone, and detected intervals
• Name the sport or day and it picks the right session, telling you which activity it is looking at
• When detailed data genuinely is not there, the coach says so instead of guessing
TRIATHLON FINISHES GET THEIR DUE
Finish a triathlon and your race-completion card now celebrates the whole event, not just the final leg — with a steadier performance rating behind it.
POLISH
• Z5 pace now comes only from your actual short reps, not a made-up number from the tail end of long efforts — the plan says so when there aren't enough of them
• Coach chat receipts for a cleared health issue now show the current status instead of the old severity
1.124.0 Sep 4
YOUR WEEKLY TARGET - VISIBLE, HONEST, AND YOURS TO CONTROL
Your week now has exactly one volume target, shown at the top of your plan.
• Editing workouts or adding an extra session changes your schedule, never your target - doing more never counts against you
• Tap the target to set new hours, or let your coach propose a change you confirm first
• If illness or injury forced your target down, clearing it now offers to restore what you had before
• Clearing a health item is now one tap instead of two
ONE READINESS SIGNAL, RIGHT ON TODAY
Where you stand against your plan now lives in one place, with up to two chips explaining why - volume, intensity, or execution. Training harder than planned reads as exactly that, not a decline.
VOLUME QUESTIONS GET THEIR OWN CARD
When your week drifts from your volume target, the coach's question - raise it or lower it? - now gets its own card on Today instead of competing with workout adaptations, and stays until the week ends.
YOUR COACH CAN SEE YOUR HEART-RATE ZONES
Ask about your intervals and get real numbers back: time in each zone, average and max heart rate, time above threshold, and per-interval splits.
• Time-in-zone figures are now measured in real seconds, not counted per reading - so an hour in Zone 2 finally reads as an hour
ULTRA AND TRAIL RACES AS REAL GOAL TYPES
Creating a race goal now offers Ultra Marathon and Other Running Race alongside the classic distances, so your coach can credit and analyze these races correctly.
TELL YOUR COACH WHEN SOMETHING WENT WRONG
When the coach spots a technical problem, it can now offer to forward a report to the developer - nothing sent without your say-so, with an optional note from you.
POLISH
• Plan adjustments now tell you exactly what could not be applied, and why, instead of silently doing less than promised
• Goal changes that fail to save now show a clear message instead of quietly doing nothing

A RACE THAT DOESN'T GO TO PLAN, FINALLY ACCOUNTED FOR
Until now a race could only end one way: finished. If you dropped out partway or never made the start line, there was no way to say so, and the goal just stayed open and blocked your next training block.
• Tell us how it went in one tap, or just mention it to your coach in a message
• A DNF still counts as the effort it was and gets a debrief
• A DNS plants no recovery week, so your training keeps moving
RACE-DAY BRIEFINGS THAT KNOW YOUR COURSE
Attach a GPX file to a race goal and your coach reads the actual course — climbs, descents, elevation gain, and the kilometer markers that matter.
• See the elevation profile on web, iOS, and Android
• Your race-day briefing turns real terrain into specific pacing and fueling tactics
• Trail and mountain workouts now get terrain-aware analysis too
SEE WHERE YOUR RACE TIME IS HEADING
Your goal now shows a weekly finish-time forecast built from your recent training, refreshed every week and charted against your target.
• Reads the pace of your quality intervals, not diluted whole-run averages
• Your weekly summary quotes the same numbers as the forecast
• Ask your coach for an on-demand forecast anytime
• Tap the readiness banner on Today for the full picture: this week's volume, accepted adjustments, recent weeks, and why the forecast moved
YOUR PLAN LEARNS YOUR REAL WEEKLY HOURS
When your training has run consistently above or below your set weekly hours for several genuine weeks, your coach now proposes a recalibrated baseline that matches how you actually train. Accept it and your plan re-anchors around the new number; keep your current plan and nothing changes.
OVERNIGHT HRV
Your HRV now reflects a full night's sleep, averaged across your sleep window with a rolling 7-day baseline — a steadier signal than a single morning reading.
COACH CHAT
• New receipt cards show up right in the conversation when your coach saves a memory, health issue, or commitment
• Fixed a freeze and a scrolling glitch that could interrupt a conversation
• Morning briefings read tighter, with a clearer "why" behind each call and goal-readiness context built in
POLISH
• A mid-week plan no longer overwrites training you already did, and same-day activities match up correctly
• Ultra-distance activities with over 10,000m of climbing now sync reliably
• The app stays in portrait orientation
• Interval work length now shows correctly in workout-detail repeat blocks
• Fixed the every-few-days logout some of you were seeing
• Race template labels and distances display correctly
• Plan generation no longer gets stuck

SMARTER PLANS FOR TRAIL AND MOUNTAIN RUNNING
If you're a trail or mountain runner - or training for a hilly or mountainous race - your coach now prescribes the climbing you need.
• Elevation targets on key runs and hikes, uphill intervals, and progressive downhill work
• Each week built from your training phase's key sessions
• Tell your coach you're a trail runner and it tailors your plan to the terrain
• Peak weeks keep their race-specific intensity, and plan adjustments for fatigue stay proportionate instead of wiping out your hard sessions
YOUR WEEKLY COMMITMENTS, GUARANTEED
Tell your coach about your Tuesday club run or that you swim twice a week, and it becomes a real commitment - not just a note.
• Every weekly plan is now checked against your commitments before it reaches you, so your fixed sessions actually appear where they belong
• Manage them any time in the new My Commitments screen
• Review what your coach knows about your health - injuries, illness, severity, and status - in the new My Health screen
POLISH
• Fixed a bug where a memory suggestion in your weekly review could reappear after you'd already acted on it

MEET YOUR COACH
Give your AI coach a name in Settings and it shows up right in the chat header. The coach is more useful in conversation, too:
- Open any workout and tap "Chat about this workout" to talk through that exact session
- Ask how a finished activity went and the coach pulls up its analysis instantly
- When it moves, swaps, or reshapes your week, you see each change as a clear day-by-day card instead of buried in text
SEE THE IMPACT BEFORE YOU CHANGE YOUR PLAN
When you ask your coach to ease, cut, or add a session, it now shows exactly how that change moves your goal readiness — a simple before-and-after read right on the plan-update card. Easing a key session shows the honest cost; adding load back shows you heading toward plan. No charts, no jargon — just a clear picture so the call stays yours.
TRAIN FOR ANY RACE DISTANCE
Racing something that isn't a standard 5K, 10K, half, or marathon? Pick "Custom" when you add a race goal and enter the exact distance. Ultras and unusual events are now first-class, and your plan sizes the race around the distance you give it.
1.6.0 Jul 1
PICK YOUR UNITS
Prefer miles to kilometres? In Settings you can now switch the whole app to
imperial — miles, feet, miles per hour, Fahrenheit and a 12-hour clock. Pace
shows in min/mile, swims per 100 yards, and your coach talks in your units too.
Connect Strava and we start from your Strava preference.
THE WEATHER, RIGHT ON YOUR PLAN
Your weekly plan cards now show the forecast at a glance — a condition icon and
the day's high/low. Open a workout for more: rain chance and wind. It uses your
training location (or your camp when you're away), so you know whether tomorrow
calls for a jacket or sunscreen.
WELCOME BACK
Been away for a bit? Open the app after a break and we help you pick up where
you left off — a one-tap catch-up for a short gap, a 30-second check that your
goal, hours and zones still fit after a longer one, or help choosing your next
focus once your goal race is done.
SHARPER RACE-DAY BRIEFINGS
Add your race's start location and gun time to a race goal, and your race-day
briefing now uses the weather at the actual venue, timed to the start — instead
of guessing from where you usually train.
A REDESIGNED WORKOUT SCREEN
Tapping a workout now opens a full-screen view that matches the rest of the app:
a bold sport-coloured header, your session as a clear timeline, the coach's
reasoning in one place, and a single primary action that adapts to the day —
adapt, view analysis, or reschedule.
POLISH
• A refined dark mode with better contrast and depth
• Edit your race and activity feedback anytime — you're no longer stuck with
your first entry

APPLE HEALTH, REBUILT FOR APPLE WATCH ATHLETES
Train with an Apple Watch instead of Strava? You now get the same insights as
Strava users:
• Your recent workout history imports the moment you connect
• New workouts sync automatically in the background
• Runs and rides get full heart-rate zones and interval detection
• Activities are logged on the correct day, wherever you train
A SMARTER, FASTER COACH
• The coach opens full screen from a redesigned tab bar, with one calm status
line while it works
• Plan changes now get a proper review screen — compare every change side by
side and pick the ones you want
• It remembers what you tell it across sessions (easing off for a sore knee, a
recurring constraint) and keeps its notes about you fresh
• Long conversations stay fast and focused; unconfirmed proposals expire
instead of resurfacing
A WEEKLY REVIEW THAT CELEBRATES CONSISTENCY
Your week in review leads with an honest rating, highlights your wins, and sets
a clear focus for next week — tied to what you discussed with your coach.
PLANNING, POLISHED
• Sharing how a workout felt is smoother — the field clears the keyboard and
refreshes the moment your re-analysis is ready
• Drag-and-drop rescheduling works again, planning next week shows clear
progress, and re-planning a single training-camp week regenerates cleanly
• Asking your coach to move or remove a session now does exactly that, and your
Plan and Today views update instantly
FIXES
• Structured interval workouts now reach your Apple Watch with the right
durations (no more 15-minute warm-up arriving as 15 seconds)
