New in 3.4.0 Apple Intelligence helps you set up habits. Type a name and Dots suggests a fitting icon, colour and goal. Not sure where to start? Ask for habit ideas. And Stats now opens with a word on your last 7 days, with each habit named in its own colour. It all stays on your device. (On devices with Apple Intelligence.) Any colour you like. Pick any colour from the new colour wheel beside the palette. The palette is down to six, and the editor's background is calmer. Pages fill in as you arrive. Heatmaps and calendars draw your logged days in as you reach them, and Stats opens without a pause. Prefer stillness? Turn it off in Settings > General > Animations. Reduce Motion is respected too. A habit's page opens beside your habits. On iPhone Duo unfolded and on iPad, tapping a habit opens its calendar in a sheet instead of covering your list. Heatmap cards also sit two across where there's room. A long press on a day now opens the count sheet right under your finger. Thanks for using Dots!

New in 3.3.0 Made for iPhone Duo. Dots fits iPhone Duo folded or open, upright or sideways. Unfold it and cards and calendars spread into more columns, so more of your habits fit at a glance. Held sideways, the habit editor opens beside your list. Widgets now look right on the clear and tinted Home Screen, with your done days standing out. If you've hidden the Preview button in Settings, the page title no longer appears twice at the top of the screen. Thanks for using Dots!

New in 3.2.2 A shorter welcome. Getting started now takes two pages instead of three, and the last one shows plainly what's free and what Dots Pro adds. The Dots Pro screen also follows the language you choose in Settings. Thanks for using Dots!

New in 3.2.1 Dots now speaks Dutch, Polish, Russian and Turkish, in the app, the widgets, the Apple Watch app and Siri. Thanks for using Dots!

New in 3.2.0 The widget you asked for. Weekly Habits is here, as many of you requested: each habit has its own row, and a tap on its name checks it off. Each week appears as a row of dots starting on your chosen first day, with 4 habits in the medium widget and 8 in the large. Thanks for using Dots!

New in 3.1.0 Notes for any day. Add a few words to a day: how the run felt, or why you skipped. Press and hold a habit and choose Add Note, or press and hold a day in its calendar. Days with a note get a small dot, and the month's notes are listed under the calendar, where + adds one for any day. A few fixes. The Calendar view shows the first week of every month again, and turns to the new month on its own. Sheets wear a softer tint of your habit's colour. Thanks for using Dots!

New in 3.0.0 Log your habits with Siri. Say “Check off Workout in Dots” and it’s logged, without opening the app. “Log several Workout in Dots” asks how many, “Record in Dots” asks which habit, and “Undo Workout in Dots” takes one back. You’ll find the phrases in Settings > Siri & Shortcuts. Ready for iOS 27. Swiping between List, Card, Calendar and Heatmap stays smooth even when you flick fast, and every view keeps its title. Long heatmaps scroll without a stutter, and Calendar and Heatmap are already filled in when you get there. Stats, reminders and goals that fit. Open Stats from the top-left corner for your recap, monthly charts and records. A habit can remind you up to three times a day, and goals can be daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. A few smaller things. The bar at the bottom names each view in full, a finished card says Completed, and Settings is tidier. Also in recent updates Fix a mistap or type the number: press and hold a habit and choose Edit Count. Goals go up to 99,999. Thanks for using Dots!

New in 2.5.4 Remind yourself up to three times a day. A habit can now have up to three reminder times — morning, midday and evening — on the same days. Tap Add Time under the reminder. Once the day's goal is met, the rest of that day's reminders stay quiet. Your four views are one tap away again. List, Card, Calendar and Heatmap are back in the bar at the bottom, with their familiar icons. Each view now remembers where you were: switch away and back, and it's still scrolled to the same place — no more waiting for the heatmap to fill in. You can swipe sideways between them, too. Stats, from the top corner. Statistics open from the button in the top-left and slide up over your habits. When a monthly recap is ready, that corner tells you so. A few smaller things. The heatmap shows one more week. The buttons in the bottom bar are larger and easier to hit. And a rare crash when opening the app right after an update is fixed. Also in recent updates Fix a mistap or type the number: press and hold a habit and choose Edit Count. Goals can be yearly and go up to 99,999. Your year has a recap of its own. And if you downloaded Dots before October 1, 2026, your habits stay unlimited and free, for good. Thanks for using Dots!

New in 2.5.3 Fix a tap, or just type the number. Tapped a habit by mistake? Press and hold it, choose Edit Count, and set the day to what it really was. Any past day can be corrected the same way from the habit's calendar. And if you read 50 pages today, type 50 — no need to tap fifty times. Goals can now be yearly. For the things you do a handful of times a year: an overnight hike, a visit home. Days, weeks, months, years — whichever the habit actually fits. Bigger goals, and progress you can read. Goals go up to 99,999, so 10,000 steps a day is finally one you can set. Each habit now shows where you are, not just what to aim for. Also in recent updates Your year has a recap of its own — a heatmap of every habit, month-by-month charts and your records, all shareable as a card. Dots speaks Italian. And Dots Pro is here: if you downloaded Dots before October 1, 2026, your habits stay unlimited and free, for good. Widgets, the Apple Watch app, reminders, recaps, icons and colours stay free for everyone. Thanks for using Dots!

New in 2.5.1 Stats, all on one page. Your year now has a recap of its own — a heatmap of every habit, month-by-month charts, your records and the last seven days, all in one place. Share any of it as a card. Dots now speaks Italian. Every screen, every reminder, the icon search and the recap — all of it reads in Italian, alongside the nine languages already there. Introducing Dots Pro — and you keep what you have. If you downloaded Dots before October 1, 2026, your habits stay unlimited and free, for good. It's tied to your Apple Account, so a new phone or a reinstall changes nothing. Installs after that date keep 3 habits free, and Dots Pro lifts the limit. Widgets, the Apple Watch app, reminders, recaps, icons and colours stay free for everyone. Thanks for using Dots!

New in 2.5.0 A new widget — keep ten habits at once. Ten in a single widget on iPhone, your first four in the Smart Stack on Apple Watch. One tap checks a habit off, wherever you are. Also in recent updates — the monthly recap: • Your month in one picture — on the 1st, Dots gathers the month that just ended: the goals you met, the days you showed up, your longest streak. • A moon that fills with your month — from crescent to full as your percentage climbs, under a different sky each month. • The whole month as dots — a row per habit, a column per day. The days you kept everything stand clear of the rest. • Made to share — one card, sized for a story, to save or send anywhere. Thanks for using Dots!

New in 2.4.0 A monthly recap: the month you just finished, in one picture. • Your month, looked back on — on the 1st, Dots gathers the month that just ended: how many goals you met, the days you showed up, your longest streak, everything you marked. • A moon that fills with your month — it rises as a crescent and fills toward full as your percentage climbs, under a different sky for each month of the year. • The whole month as dots — a row for each habit, a column for each day, larger and brighter the fuller the day. The days you kept everything stand clear of the rest. • Or read it as a rate — one tap swaps the figure for a ten-row scale, a column per day. • Made to share — one card, sized for a story, to save to your photos or send anywhere. • It comes to you — the moon in the corner lights up when a new recap is ready, and stays lit until you have looked. Thanks for using Dots!

New in 2.3.3 Thousands of icons to pick from, and a search that works in your own language. • 5,000+ icons — the picker used to offer 48. It now reaches every icon Dots can use, so there is one for the habit you actually have. • Search in your language — type "running", "coffee" or "quit smoking" and get the icons that mean it. Suggested keywords sit right under the search field, so you never have to guess what to type. • Browse by category — health, fitness, food, learning, home, pets and more, each with a hand-picked set. • A faster way in — tap a habit's icon to change it, or the magnifier in the editor. • Streaks on the habit list — a flame beside each habit shows how many days, weeks or months in a row you have met its goal. Thanks for using Dots!

New in 2.3.2 Reminders are easier to reach, and widget taps land every time. • Reminders from the habit screen — a bell in the top right shows whether a habit will nudge you. Tap it to set the time and days without opening the editor, and the habit list now shows the same bell on every row. • Widget taps fixed — tapping a habit in a widget sometimes opened Dots instead of checking it off. That's fixed, in every widget. Thanks for using Dots!

New in 2.3.1 A way to reach me, and six more icons to choose from. • Email support — Settings now has an Email support button. It opens your mail app with your app version and device details already filled in, so you can just write and send. • Six new icons — 48 to choose from now, including language, conversation, world, news, cleaning, and laundry. Thanks for using Dots!

New in 2.3.0 Your habits are now yours to keep — and to move. • Export & import — save your habits and their history to a single JSON file, then import them back on any iPhone with every logged day intact. • Choose what to export — all your habits or just a few, then keep the file in Files, AirDrop it, or send it anywhere. • More icons — 42 to choose from now, including pets. • Fixed a layout issue that clipped part of the screen when the Button Shapes accessibility setting is on. Thanks for using Dots!
