Visitor types. Set up your own types, like Visitor, Contractor or Management, and the iPad asks "Why are you here today?" first. Each type signs its own agreement, prints its own badge label and asks only the steps you choose: company, photo, host and reason for visit. Reason for visit. A new step after the host, off, optional or required for each type, saved on the visit and shown in the visitor log. Every type works offline. All of your agreements are stored on the iPad, so any type can sign in without a connection. More reliable badge printing: the app remembers your printer's last working address and no longer shows the printer as offline while it is busy. Also: visitor check-in steps always open at the top of the screen, call for assistance always reaches someone, and small fixes.

Guests • VIP guests get their own section at the top of the guest board, and a gold star beside their name in A to Z. • Guest parties line up in tidy columns, so names, counts and buttons sit in the same place on every row. • Board and Send ashore appear on the party you open, keeping the rest of the list clear. • Each party's ring shows how many are aboard, and turns to a tick when everyone is. Muster • All present on a guest party now marks everyone at once, however big the party.

Visitors • Scanning an EU driving licence now verifies the card properly. Passports and identity cards are unchanged. Muster • The muster screen keeps its list of scenarios up to date on its own, so the types you set up in the admin are always there when you need them.

Crew sign-in can now be protected by your vessel's security PIN, so visitors can't open the crew screens from the welcome iPad. Turn it on in Settings → Devices → Welcome Screen. The small text under each welcome-screen button can now be worded however your vessel wants it.

Visitor passes Known visitors can now be given a pass for a period, such as a yard week. The pass is a QR code on their printed badge and a copy on their phone. Scanning it at the iPad signs them in, and the routine security search still applies. Passes are issued at the end of check-in, from the visitor's card on the board, or from the admin. Pre-boarding Crew can check a visitor's name and ID at the gangway on Muster Mate. At the iPad the visitor picks their name, sees the ID that was captured, and finishes the rest. Better ID scanning The ID scan now needs a real identity document, not just a name. A visitor badge held up as ID is refused, and the crew are told what to do next. Also in this update - Tap a visitor on the board to reprint their badge or their pass. - The sign-in and sign-out confirmation shows a larger photo of the visitor. - Cleaner badge layout. - Live updates from the admin reach the iPad more reliably.

Crew iPads • Crew-only iPads now open on a home screen in your welcome screen's design, with Sign in / out and the places crew go most: Muster Control, Safety, Checklists, Safety documents, Contacts, Visitors, Guests and Assets. Everything is one tap away. • Choose which of those cards each crew iPad shows, and give them a colour, from Devices › Crew Display in the admin. Checklists • Only the items you mark Required must be answered before a checklist can be submitted. Anything left blank is listed at submit, where you mark it N/A or strike it through, with a reason if you want one. The record and the PDF show it that way. • Submit is never greyed out. If something still needs doing, the review names it and takes you to it. • Back goes up one folder at a time, like the safety documents. • Each iPad keeps its own favourite checklists. The admin's pinned checklists are the starting set. Small fixes throughout.

Returning visitors can sign in faster. Choose in Visitor Settings which steps a remembered visitor skips: ID scan, agreement, host, photo. Someone already on board can't be signed in twice. Visitors can choose not to be remembered for next time. Every visit keeps its own photo, ID and agreement in the admin. Small fixes to the sign-in and sign-out screens.

The visitor check-in has been redesigned from front to back. • Cleaner, bigger screens for every step — name, company, contact, photo and signature • Phone numbers now have a country picker — visitors just type their normal number and we handle the rest • ID scanning rebuilt: hold the ID in the frame and it reads the card and checks the name automatically, with a manual capture if it can't • The visitor agreement opens instantly, and a tap on "Keep reading" scrolls it for you • Calling for crew assistance now confirms right on the button • Device Settings redesigned — much roomier, with clearer printer status and plain-language help if the printer stops answering • Reprint a visitor badge easier to reach • Plenty of small fixes to keep every screen smooth

Muster is faster and calmer. Completing a muster no longer pauses before the confirmation. Starting a fresh muster clears the board cleanly instead of flashing everyone's last result. The board now waits until the recorder is actually running, so your first taps can't be swallowed.

Compact checklists are here. Now you can tap through questions much faster! Also fixed a bug where the photo taken of an asset would escape it's bounding box and flood the page.

Crew sign-in and sign-out now hold up on patchy wifi. A cleaner header across the app: one bar carries the vessel name, search and the board controls, so every screen gives more room to the board itself. The printer offline and no internet notices can now be dismissed. They only return if the problem is still there an hour later. Checklists read better on every iPad size, with a clearer card for the item you are working on. Guests can be grouped together and signed on/off with one tap. Plus reliability and layout fixes across visitors, safety documents and the crew board.

Checklists are easier to run on the iPad. Save your progress and pick up where you left off, work through long checklists section by section, and see reference photos right on the item you're checking. The app now rotates reliably between portrait and landscape on every iPad — no more getting stuck part-way through a turn.

This update fixes the welcome screen freeze some vessels saw on a slow connection — the iPad now starts up reliably every time. Checking in visitors is faster and clearer. You can now mark a visitor as restricted or unaccompanied, which prints a clearly marked badge, and phone and email are now separate steps so they're quicker to fill in. From now on, when an update is available tapping the banner will allow you to download the update inside the app - For vessels where Guided Access Or Kiosk mode. We've also smoothed out the crew board, tidied the welcome screen in portrait, and made document folders easier to navigate - Hopefully!

Bug fixes and stability improvements

4 New layouts of the welcome screen have been added! The Welcome Screen also includes a clickable ISPS security notice for everyone coming aboard.

ISPS Security Level — set your vessel's level (1, 2 or 3); it's shown on every iPad and automatically adjusts visitor check-in requirements to match. Muster for a Specific Emergency — choose the scenario when you start a muster (fire, man overboard, abandon ship, flooding and more) so the crew know exactly what they're responding to, with a clear "NOT A DRILL" option for real events. Plus refinements and fixes throughout.

Small QoL Changes to Muster Session and Crew Board.

Visitors & Muster • New Guests tab on the Visitors screen — track owners, friends-of-owner and VIPs on board without putting them through the visitor sign-in flow. • Guests now appear as their own group in an active muster session so everyone on board is accounted for in an emergency.
