Just Pinochle offers an authentic gameplay experience that is strategic, fair, and competitive. To accomplish this, the number of rules variations in the games have been limited. If your favorite Pinochle rules of play are different, please test Just Pinochle and see if it provides a new, enjoyable challenge.
Just Pinochle conforms to the basic rules of play shared by many popular versions of Pinochle that are available online. The unique options, enforced plays, and classic scoring values in Just Pinochle are:
* Game Versions - Partnership; Double; Cutthroat (3-player)
* Minimum opening bid - user defined
* Points to win game - user defined
* Kitty or Trade with Partner - None; Kitty; Trade 3 cards; Trade 4 cards
* First to Lead - Left of Dealer; Declarer
* Any card may be played to start a new hand
* Must play trump (if possible) when out of lead suit
* Trump suit only - must play above current high trick card (if possible)
* Meld Scoring - classic values, e.g. Trump Run=150, Aces Around=100, etc.
* Trick Scoring - classic vales, e.g. Ace=11, Ten=10, King=4, Queen = 3, Jack=2
