So happy to have found this. So much better and cleaner than other readers. Also I’m completely sold on the vertical swipe, can’t ever see myself going back to horizontal. A couple of features I’d love to see:- Progress sync between devices (I often read on my iPhone on the train and on my iPad in bed, for example). I already have my book files in iCloud, it would be great if I could just pick up where I left off on another device. - Some form of [optional] progress indicator at the bottom of the “leaf”. Personally I’d like a percentage, but a “location x/y” à la Kindle would be fine too.
Developer Response
Thanks so much. I’m really glad the vertical swipe clicked for you.Progress sync is now available in the latest version as part of leaf Pro, so you can pick up on another device from where you left off. It also syncs highlights, notes, shelves, and reading journals. The progress indicator is something I've been considering. I’ll think about the cleanest way to add it.
- Book metadata and cover editing from the library detail screen.
- Better journal cleanup: deleting a highlight or note now removes its auto-added journal entry when it has not been edited.
- Multi-segment highlights now behave more like one highlight in the reader.
- Reader and library polish.
