MonoTape - Calculator Memo
Labeled Calculator Notebook
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
"What was that number for?" Never again.
You finish a calculation, but minutes later you can't remember what the numbers meant.
Change one value, and you have to redo everything from scratch.
MonoTape solves both problems.
MonoTape is a calculation notebook that combines the simplicity of a calculator with the record-keeping power of a notepad.
Just type on the keypad and press "=". Results are saved to a history tape, and you can label each line so you always know what it means.
-- What MonoTape Does --
[1] Labeled Calculations
"Rent", "Utilities", "Food" -- attach a label to any result.
When you look back later, you instantly know what each number was for.
[2] Reference Past Results
Pull in previous results by their label and use them in new calculations.
"Rent + Utilities + Food = Total" -- it works like a spreadsheet, but feels like a calculator.
[3] Auto-Recalculate
Edit one value and every calculation that depends on it updates automatically.
No need to start over.
[4] Calculator-First Input
Input is keypad-only. It feels exactly like a regular calculator.
No learning curve at all.
