Takapō is a spatial experience set at Lake Takapō (Tekapo), beneath one of the darkest night skies on Earth.
You are transported to the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd, recreated with extraordinary realism using photogrammetry and real-world imaging. Every stone and every contour of the land reflects the real place, carefully stripped of modern elements to preserve a timeless atmosphere.
You can tap certain objects to bring them out of the sky and interact with them in 3D, each with its own story tied to New Zealand’s culture.
