New: connect Claude or Meta Muse. Tell your assistant what you want to train, and the workout appears in Tally, ready to log.
Plan workouts by chatting with Claude or Meta Muse. Log them in Tally.
Tally is a strength-training log for iPhone that your AI assistant can write to. Tell Claude or Meta Muse what you want to train, how much time you have, and what to avoid. Your assistant builds the workout and saves it to Tally. Open the app and it is there: exercises, sets, reps and target weights, ready to start.
HOW IT WORKS
• Connect Claude or Meta Muse once from Settings. Setup takes about a minute in your browser. A free Claude account works.
• Plan in a chat: "Plan three days this week around squat and bench. Go easy on my left shoulder."
• Your assistant reads your planned days and recent workouts, then writes new days into your week.
• At the gym, tap Start. Every set is filled in and ready to check off.
FAST TO LOG
• A big keypad and one-tap set check-offs
• Edit one set and the sets below it update
• The rest timer starts when you finish a set
• Change the whole workout by typing or speaking, mid-session
• Track weight and reps, time, or distance (rows, sled pushes, carries)
• Works offline; your log syncs when you are back online
YOUR WEEK, YOUR CALL
• See planned, completed and skipped days in the week view
• Skip a day you can't make; your assistant sees it the next time it plans
• Days you build in Tally stay as you made them unless you ask your assistant to change them
• Build days yourself from the exercise library, or add your own exercises
YOUR DATA
• Sign in with Apple, Google or email; your log syncs to your account
• Your assistant sees only your account, and you can disconnect it anytime in Settings
• Export your full history as a CSV file

I’ve really enjoyed using the Tally workout app, especially the personalized suggestions it provides. Instead of giving you generic workouts, the app tailors routines based on your goals, progress, and what you’re actually able to do. It makes working out feel much more approachable and efficient because the plans adapt to you rather than forcing you into a one-size-fits-all program. I also like that it takes some of the mental load out of fitness planning. It’s less guesswork, more structure, and workouts that feel intentional. Been looking for something like this for a while and excited to continue using.
Optimal Workout App

This is the exactly what I have been looking for. Great way to track workouts and quickly find new ones right before the gym through AI integration.
Helps me work around injuries

I wanted something simple. Something to replace the physical logbook that I’ve been using for 10 years. Figured it was time to try something digital. Tally seems to fit the bill, just really smooth. It’s also super helpful if you’re dealing with an injury. I can say something like “hip flexor hurts” and it will give me a few exercises and some details on how to perform with links out to YouTube. Pretty cool.
If you set up Tally in Claude before installing the app, you can now log straight in from the first screen, skip the setup questions, and go right to the workouts Claude planned for you.
• You can now group exercises into supersets and log them round by round on one card. Claude can plan supersets for you too.
• We made adding and swapping exercises quicker. Search puts the movements you've done and your custom exercises at the top, and swapping suggests exercises you've used for the same muscle.
• Every exercise card shows your top set from last time (like 65 × 10 · 5d ago), and newly added exercises pre-fill with your last weights and sets.
• We cleaned up the Home screen and replaced the big plan button on rest days with a small "Train anyway" link.
• Fixed a crash when tapping ⓘ on an exercise Claude planned, and fixed a bug where leaving a planned workout without saving made it disappear from your schedule.
