Do NOT become a member!! It is extremely difficult to cancel as it is not connected to your Apple ID - even though I used my Apple account. I followed their instructions to go through my settings and it was a lie as it wasn’t connected to my Apple account to cancel. That is false instructions they give you! I also reached out to their support team, way in advance of the renewal, and they are completely unresponsive. Don’t do it! It’s not worth it.
