ImpulStop helps you stop impulse buying and make more mindful spending decisions. The app gives you intentional time to think before making an impulsive purchase. Instead of acting right away, you pause, reflect on your feelings, and make a more mindful decision. What does ImpulStop offer? Time delay for impulse purchases Add your impulsive purchase idea to the app and decide how long you want to wait before making a decision. Personal rules Set your own rules that are automatically applied to new entries, for example based on price or other criteria. Emotional spending awareness Capture how you’re feeling in the moment. Overview & statistics Recognize patterns in your spending habits. ImpulStop shows which emotional states lead to impulse buying and emotional spending. Local reminders Notifications remind you when your thinking time is over. Privacy & control All data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to us. The app uses no own servers, no cloud, and no user account. Automatic backups are handled exclusively by your device’s system services (e.g. iCloud) and are outside of ImpulStop’s control. You stay in full control with optional backup and import features. Feedback and bug reports are voluntary and fully transparent. Who is ImpulStop for? For anyone who wants to stop impulse buying and save money mindfully. For people who want to consume more mindfully. For those who want to reflect on their behavior, without pressure, without judgment. ImpulStop doesn’t force you to do anything. It simply gives you something valuable back: time to think.
