ACCURACY & LIMITATIONS (BEING HONEST):
Because LocalScript runs entirely offline without cloud servers, please note:
• Transcription accuracy is approximately 85-95% in quiet environments, and 60-75% in noisy rooms.
• Best results are achieved with clear speech, quiet backgrounds, and English or major European languages.
• Transcription is not real-time; processing runs post-recording and takes about 1/3 of the audio length.
• Speaker separation (diarization) is not supported.
• We recommend iPhone XS or newer for optimal processing speed.
• Storage is limited only by your device's available space. A 1-hour recording uses approximately 50-100MB.
