Tackle Tracker has quickly become one of my favorite fishing apps. It makes it incredibly easy to organize tackle track, my catches and keep detailed records of performance out on the water.The catch logging features are excellent, especially being able to associate with a lure for performance, location, species, photos, and conditions all in one app. The app is clean, easy to use and clearly designed for fisherman.I also really like the analytics and organization. Being able to look back at successful spots, catch patterns and lures is very helpful. The GPS and Photos features work great.The app feels polished and is reliable. It is absolutely worth downloading!

Scanned 12 different WELL known brands packages and the app couldn’t pull ANY info for any of them. The scan feature just takes everything from the front of the package but doesn’t let you edit any of it. Don’t waste your time with this app.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback.You’re correct that the UPC scanner is not intended to populate product information from a barcode. Unfortunately, there isn’t a comprehensive UPC database available for fishing tackle that would reliably provide that information. The barcode scanner’s purpose is to record the UPC so the app can recognize that exact item if it’s scanned again in the future.The package scanner is a separate feature that uses OCR to extract information printed on the packaging to help reduce manual data entry. While it works well in some situations, it hasn’t been as consistent as we’d like. We’re actively working to improve it, and if we can’t make it meet our quality standards, we’ll remove or redesign the feature rather than leave users with a poor experience.We appreciate your honest feedback, as it helps us prioritize improvements. If you’d like to share more details about the products you tested, we’d be happy to look into them. We hope you’ll give Tackle Tracker another try as we continue improving the app.
