Aegis is a private AI terminal for iPhone built for privacy-critical workflows. Connect to local or OpenAI-compatible model endpoints, run assistant tool calls on your device, and keep control of your trust boundaries. Aegis supports calendar and reminders workflows, coarse location for weather, document tools for PDF/TXT/DOC/DOCX context, and configurable custom JavaScript tools. Cloud delegation is optional. When enabled, Aegis can apply strict redaction policies before requests leave your device. Tool execution and model sources are explicitly configurable so you can enable only what you trust. Aegis is designed for local-first operation, with optional private-network setups (including Tailscale) and user-initiated diagnostics sharing.
