PALET now starts with a question. Open the Create tab and it asks "What are we cooking?" Photo your fridge and PALET says what it can see, asks you a question or two, and writes the recipe. Type an idea as it is, "lamb koftas, loads of cumin, yoghurt sauce", and it writes that too. Or do what you always did: a photo, a voice note or a video of something you cooked. Then talk to it. "Less chilli" and it tells you exactly what it changed. "Make it for six" and it gives you the amounts. Save it to a book and it's a proper page. Grams, method, techniques, tips, estimated nutrition. Cook in cups or grams, whichever you actually use. Palet now writes recipes in your units. Choose metric or imperial when you edit a recipe and it converts what you have already typed into numbers a kitchen can measure. 150 g becomes 5 1/2 oz, not 5.29 oz. Recipes from other cooks convert as you read them, so an American recipe makes sense to a British cook and the other way round. Tablespoons and teaspoons are left alone, because every cookbook prints them that way. A new way in. A new onboarding experience guides you through creating your first recipe. Verification is faster too, with a six digit code you type straight into the app instead of hunting for a link. Also fixed: .
