I recently started using Nafs and I genuinely love it. The design is beautiful, it feels very intentional, and it has so many helpful features for prayer and Quran tracking. It’s honestly one of the best Islamic apps I’ve seen in terms of aesthetics and overall experience. However, there’s one issue that makes it difficult to use consistently: the inability to log a prayer after its time window has passed.Sometimes people forget to log their prayer in the moment, even if they prayed on time. Right now, if you miss that window, you can’t go back and log it later; which makes the tracking feel inaccurate and a bit discouraging. It would really improve the app if users could log prayers retroactively or manually adjust their prayer log for the day. Even a simple “log missed entry” or edit option would make a big difference.I truly love the app and want to keep using it, so I hope this feature can be considered in a future update.
Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback. In our next update, we’re adding the ability to manually bypass missed prayer expiry windows if you weren’t able to log it on time. Our original intention with the current system was to encourage logging salah before the window expires, which is also why we added optional salah expiry reminders and wudu notifications to help users stay on track throughout the day. That being said, we completely understand your point. Life happens, and we never want the experience to feel discouraging or inaccurate for someone genuinely trying their best.
